What females say to me is that western women want to be loved by men.

Good luck finding that knight in shining armour who loves you for being you!

I think it is quite a selfish, one sided perspective. What about loving men? What about being open hearted toward men, rather than feeling entitled to love "just for being you"

Maybe give some love, and you'll get some love. The thing is, a lot of women are unable to give love in the first place.
