I started working with McQueen and a lot of it is how habituated you get to the club environment. If you never go to clubs and then check one out, you probably won't like it. Try it out a few more times and you'll get used to the noise, mayhem and tons of girls. That article from goodlookingloser has a lot of truth to it, but don't let it deter you form getting into that scene. The main reason nightclubs are fun as hell is because:

The youngest, best looking girls go there.

They don't go to bars. When girls get older, they'll flock to lounges and pubs and go to bed early so they can squeeze in yoga, a juice and brunch before 11am on a Saturday.

Another plus is there are A LOT of girls at clubs, hundreds and sometimes thousands. You will be much more limited in the quantity of approaches you can make and at the end of the day, it's all a numbers game. More approaches results in improvement and eventually the notch.

Like anything in life, don't knock club life until you've given it a few tries. It's like going to the gym once, saying it hurts and never going again. Plus you might have an amazing night at a club and it'll make up for more dull nights before. Personally, a girl I have on rotation for the past few months I met at an LA nightclub. Girls there can be just as intelligent, driven and feminine as any other girls. It just so happens that when they're in their youthful prime, they prefer to get dolled up, throw on heels, drink with their friends, dance the night away and have some "fun" before they get old.

I definitely don't like clubs - a bunch of loud, obnoxiously drunk people, whose life is so pathetic Monday thru Friday that they have to consume near lethal doses of alcohol on weekends just to numb themselves, and let out their inner animal because they are forced to suck corporate dicks at their day job. I don't wanna be in the same room as these people, and I have zero respect for them. In fact my mood usually drops when I go to a club, especially if it's a bad dj and it's too hot and too crowded. So I start drinking as much as the other idiots do, also to numb myself, and the result is I sometimes get into it with whoever looks at me wrong. By no means am I buff but I tend to get pretty reckless and damn near violent when I'm really drunk, so people usually don't fuck with me. Yea so clubs are a fucking pain as far as I'm concerned. If I could I'd never go there.

However, clubs are where the sluts be. So if you wanna fuck young pretty sluts you better show up and pretend you're having a good time at least while they are looking at you. I will never be able to develop a passion for clubs, but they are an absolutely necessity for a young playa.

I must add, ever since I had tinder I have to go clubs less often now. But of course not every 8/9 will swipe right on you, even if you have a cool look about you, there are guys with MODEL looks on there, and she can't see your personality/game in the pics. That's why tinder will never replace clubs.

While I think that clubbing is a bit overrated, I still find it to be a ton of fun. I think that a lot of guys have trouble matching the energy, I'm a natural introvert and I know it can be difficult for me sometimes, but it is a great way to blow off steam.

Once a week, Friday nights to be exact, I make it a point to go out. Talk to some girls, listen to a bunch of songs you've never heard, I don't listen to pop or new rap so the tracks are all new to me, and make out with a couple girls. It's better than sitting home and watching television.

Now I prefer "High energy" bars you know got a club feel but is a bar, and you don't have to dance

Lounges are cool except the pretentiousness is uber lame

Real talk there are times where I"m at a club and look around and think to myself I rather be home asleep

I remember back in the day I use to get agitated if we didn't get there by 10:30 now I go out by midnight and sometimes still live before 1:30

I'm surprised at the number of people in this thread that are AGAINST clubbing

It isn't my favorite place in the world, but it's one of the best places for game when you're new imo

Going to clubs is ok for me if a few of my friends want to go and we make an event out of it, because we end up being each other's source of entertainment regardless of what happens. However, in terms of getting laid it's like saying you want to work 60 hour weeks for 15 years to get rich rather than hit the lottery and save the hassle. Paying an expensive cover plus drinks or popping bottles, etc. is an extremely high cost per notch assuming your dick will still work at 4 am after you've been drinking for at least 5 hours.

I like to drink, and as I get older I've realized that I prefer more laid back venues where I don't have to stand around with a drink in my hand like a security guard or bounce around like an idiot on crack because that's how people demonstrate they're having fun and living it up.

The music that gets played at 90% of venues excluding a concert is going to be garbage to anyone who is a legitimate musician or connoisseur of music. However, this isn't really a problem because I've learned to just tune out the music and not even acknowledge it. Most people can probably do the same pretty easily, although I think you have to admit a guy in his 20s or 30s trying to bounce around to "Call me maybe" is going to look pretty fucking retarded when most of the pop music these days sounds like something that should be played at a 12 year old girl's birthday party.

This. We have a lot of these types of places. Earlier on in the night, they have more of a pub feel. Once 10 PM hits, they clear out a good bunch of the tables and chairs and open up space for dancing. By midnight, the dance floor is usually full of women. Little bit more low key environment compared to a full on night club.
