He's had about a 20 year streak without taking a loss. This is looking to be the end of that. But really, who has a better record than Clooney?

The only two with comparable win streaks are Jeter and DiCaprio, and Jeter's retiring from baseball this year. Noted bad boy Charlie Sheen has been in and out of marriage (3 divorces) almost as much as rehab within this period (and now with another engagement). In the same period, Brad Pitt married and divorced Jennifer Aniston and now is living with Angelina Jolie (who has chopped off both of her tits) and her brood of adopted children.

I won't judge Clooney's record by his few losses. I focus on the string of victories that made him the toast of Hollywood. No man can dodge every loss forever, and Clooney is no exception. He'll do fine after the eventual divorce.

Why are they getting engaged so fast?

If they started dating in the Fall, it's been barely 6 months.

You don't know someone well after that amount of time. You're still in the honeymoon phase.

I have no qualms with Clooney finding a great girl to settle down with if that's what he wants. Just wish he'd slow down and get to know her more before making the leap. I guess we'll just have to stay tuned

That is weird. In the UK the emphasis is on what grades you get - and how well you do in the interview.

To be fair - the interview requirement does allow for a lot of selection by the back door to take place.
