Cali, Colombia.

I was there only once, only for one week. But that week was amazing.

I was there fore the Petronio Alvarez festival. It's a free music festival held in the city's soccer stadium.

The festival was crawling with amazingly hot girls all over, of all shades, lots of black/mulata girls, but all colors represented

Petronio Alvarez is usually in September.

I came away from this with the impression that Cali was stacked with hotties, but lots of people here visiting appear to not find this. I can't speak for Cali during any other period of time, but if you go for the Petronio Alvarez festival, you will not be let down by the huge quantity of friendly, dancing, hot girls of all colors.

Here's how the festival works. It's free. So everyone wants to go. People are lining up for hours before the doors open.

Around the stadium, there is music being played during the day, and people selling food and drinks. You can drink outside here! So being on line is not so bad really as you're basically in an outdoor party.

There are wrist bands you can get if you know the right people to cut the line. I met some people through Couchsurfing that helped me cut the line here. Couchsurfing gets a lot of hate but in this circumstance it helped me tremendously.

Food, you have the typical street vendors there, but you also have a ton of really nice prepared food being sold in a seperate area, each representing different parts of El Pacifico Colombiano. Lots of great dishes from Guapi, Narino, Choco, etc. that get represented here.

Inside the venue, it will be packed, you will have to push and shove to get in. If you're too delicate for that, then this isn't for you. People are walking around selling small bottles of homemade liquor (biche and arrechon) and soda. There will be music for hours, tons of people dancing. You can talk to anyone and everyone, offer people shots, get offered shots, everyone is in an amazing mood. Start dancing with some girls. You know the rest from there.

One thing that happened to me, I was dancing with this one amazingly hot girl, but there were so many others giving me eyes. I started bouncing around, dancing with this one and that one. Then they all started getting jealous and nothing good came of it. My only recommendation would be to not let your eyes be bigger than your stomach, and if you find a hottie who's feeling you, stick with her.

Hope some guys can have a blast at Petronio. BTW the music is amazing, El Pacifico Colombiano definitivamente tiene mas sabor. Also, the food in Cali in general is better than Medellin or Bogota. More flavor, again.
