I'm actually having some FB fun right now.

Before Christmas I added this chick that I met randomly at a friends house, an artsy type that was quite cute. She accepted even though we only met the once.

One night I was drinking (a lot), and while really hammered I sent her a message on Facebook, basically telling her that I thought she was cute and we should get together. She declined gracefully, saying that she was seeing someone. Her FB profile didn't say "In A Relationship" or anything, but whatever.

A few weeks later, I see on my news feed a "GIRL is Single" - strange. I take that as an announcement to me, but I wait a week or two.

Tonight we're chatting back and forth a bit, and it's on. Meeting for coffee soon.

I don't really use FB for game, but I might have to start doing so.

I'm extremely conservative w/ my facebook account. Only close friends and family are on it. A few of my boy have scores of mad hotties on their lists. I don't want to be disrespectful and piss off their friends by trolling the lists. If you guys have any way around this I'm game for the info.

And having alot of pictures in different scenarios is great too, gives alot of social proof and girls just love that.

I rarely take pictures of myself for the facebook, I think I should try that more and see how things change.

facebooks dead to me, juggling multiple girls and facebooks a recipe for disaster and I got the battlescars to prove it. If its working for you, more power to ya just be careful about any of those girls getting clingy, cause as easy as it is for you to meet girls, its just as easy for them to find each other and get answers they want or mess up your fun.

I stopped using facebook, a snafu with a stripper I scorned turned into her stalking my page and messaging girls what an asshole I am. Plus, now that I'm off it, I'm not so annoyed by constant status updates that I couldn't give a flying fuck about.

Facebook carries a lot of perils that have kept me off of it heretofore.

For one, there are the risks that guys have alluded to above: putting your information out in the bright light, exposing you to scrutiny that could expose you back-room shenanigans.

Another risk is something that we all already flirt with by going on this forum and blogs: becoming a keyboard player. Spending more time in front of a computer rather than on the pavement working.

I find girls are impressed that I am not on facebook. I get a lot of compliments on it. They tell me its good I m above it.

Whatever works for you, though. It helps my day/night game not having it.

I keep a scarce private profile with a few pictures on it just to pique the girls interest and only friend girls I intend to use for things besides sex (like Couchsurfing, internships, etc.). It's really only there for public appearance.

How does face book actually work? I thought you can only message girls' you're already friends with or friends of friends. If you're on;y able to hit up people you already know, won't that limit the amount of cute girls to choose from? I think My Space was better regarding gaming because you can do a wide search of people, without having to know them or anyone they know.

Personally I don't bother with facebook, or any other online methodology for that matter. The only reason I have facebook is because it's an easy way to keep in touch with close friends and family, to share pictures, etc., but online game is more trouble than it's worth -- at least to me.

And with the deceptive pictures girls love to post, I'm much happier to run "in-person" game -- I know exactly what the girl looks like, because my own two eyes are seeing it right then and there.

before Facebook existed in the early 90's, I don't remember calling any girlfriends on the phone and updating them on my status of wanting to go take a crap, and if she likes it or nor not!

I never see girls give real status updates, like "I just made 300USD in 15 minutes!" Let me see some of those updates!
