This is a great victory, because in case you forgot, the SPLC put yours truly on a hate list. The SPLC overstepped their boundaries and got accordingly checked.

The fact that SPLC, our natural enemy, is losing power, may be a sign the tide is turning, or at least trying to.

This gang of miserable guttersnipes continuously overreached itself by trying to blacklist anyone whom they didn't like.

And finally, the overreaching and the blatant attempts to persecute people caught up with it.

All this organization does is list any and all organizations that want to lower taxes, protect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc. as hate criminals. Forget the SLPC's corruption, I could do that job for them in my off time alone. Maybe now they'll have to actually work, but I doubt it.

I would go so far as to say "a group whose supposed mission is to eliminate hate was used as a source to plot an act of domestic terrorism."

Because a lot of what the SPLC and its supporters engage in is actually anti-Christian hate done under the pretense of eliminating hate. It's Orwellian sleight-of-hand.

I might have missed this technique of theirs, but they gave it away when they started to define pro-family groups as pro-hate. IMO this probably struck fear into the hearts of Holder and company because of 1). The legal quagmire the USA would be in if the SPLC started a precedent for suing churches and 2). The negative effect this would affect black churches, most of which are very conservative about gay marriage (which is completely their right).

Having a religious belief does not make you "hateful" or a bigot, no matter what your religion or how conservative (Christian, Muslim, whatever). America was built on the freedom to worship as you please without fear of legal repercussion -- which is exactly what the SPLC was seeking to bring back.

But they pushed their radical agenda too far and to Holder's credit, he told them to buzz off.

The SPLC is an organization that is somewhat like the ACLU, or at least it used to be. The SPLC started in the 70's as a basic civil rights organization to combat racial aggression in the south, so it began as a commendable effort.

I believe it was just in the 00's decade that they began to corrupt their power beyond an understandable political agenda.

The ACLU is your typical civil rights watchdog standard. They are generally concerned with upholding the law and administering retribution under its guidelines. They have been at fault themselves at times for overstepping their authority and pushing an agenda because the wrong people were heading specific positions or stances.

I also know other people who have been accused of stuff the SPLC--Jon Roland, Larry Kilgore, and Catherine Bleish.

Roland's "crime" is running a very good web site called constitution.org

Kilgore is a Bircher-type who was run for several offices in Texas.

Bleish is a spitfire, mostly dedicated to sovereign living. She lives with her husband and kids totally off the grid.

What idiots are still giving the SPLC any money? They are so obviously a joke. They have little or no interest in whatever causes they pretend to be involved in and act as a make-work project for their employees and managers.

Who are the employees and managers at SPLC, or associated with them, benefiting by drawing a salary or fees?
Who funds this organisation? Many small donation, or a few big one?. Who are the donors and what is their motivation?

Unfortunately the ADL has become something not a lot better than the SPLC. They may have had relevance many decades ago when anti-antisemitism was a real phenomena, but they have little relevance now, and tend to just make things up in order to still seem relevant. Basically it's managers are stirring up shit in order to keep the donations coming in so that they can keep their "jobs". They really should consider doing something more productive with their time.

Being dropped by the FBI is a major blow to SPLC's credibility. It's equivalent to being dropped by the KGB in Russia. This is probably an eventually death sentence for the SPLC.
