A big girl who I have met through work messaged me through LinkedIn wishing me luck with my move to Europe and kissing my ass about how talented and intelligent I am. As I far as I know she is engaged and going on a honey moon to Greece soon. I wished her a good trip too thinking that would be the end of it. She replied saying that the engagement is off and sent some weird poem about wind waving in her hair and wanting to catch up. This girl is 30lb over anything what I would consider feasible, and the craziest case of a SIF I have ever seen. When she added me the other day it took me a moment to realize it was her, in her DP she looks stunning but in real life she is disgusting This has turned into a ramble but I just wanted to share this gif.



I feel violated that she would even consider me an option (she's also nearly ten years older than me).

Why would you want to use LinkedIn though? The search options you have are very limited for screening hot girls, college girls are unlikely to have a profile and the hump you have to overcome to get into dating mood is higher than most sites.

LinkedIN can be useful.

First off, the Facebook/LinkedIN combo to find out girls real identities is amazing. Just get a first name, college, and or professional field, and you can pretty much find anyone.

Probably not a good idea to cold approach on LinkedIN. With so many dating sites, why even try?

However, I did one time hit up a hot turkish girl I met at a party in NYC. Didn't get her number. So found her on LinkedIN instead. +1

Just had this thought from John Galt's post: LinkedIn game is THE way for investment bankers to use their career to get laid online. Hell, just having my internship experience up as a top bank gets me views, messages, and requests from people all over the place. I never though to leverage it with the chicks asking me for advice until now.

I have hooked up with women several times on LinkedIn. Here is my method:

1. Passive. This platform is passive, you cannot really go around messaging women because it comes across as spammy and you can't get banned. However, you can just consistently keep viewing women you like the look of and wait for them to view your profile back.

2. Bait taken. Once a cute female has viewed your profile. You've now established there is some interest however vague/small.

3. Send a message. A cheeky "what you looking at" or "Thanks for viewing my...profile, stalker" or "Thanks for stalking me"

4. Switch platform. If you choose not to message. I have found that copy/pasting the name putting it into Facebook and then "poking" the girl leads to them instantly messaging you back. This isn't full proof

5. Take the conversation offline. Assuming you've actually got some back and forth messaging going you can then swap numbers and get the girl out.

This has worked for me several times. PM me if you want to discuss this more.

I think there's a lot of potential in using sites that aren't primarily for dating to try to get the dating angle...when you use Tinder everyone is expecting it, but on a site like LinkedIn I think there's a bit more potential IMO

Interesting thread fellers.
I think one possible advantage of LinkedIn is that you only have your profile pic on it and that's all, so so long as it's a strong profile pic, there's less wherewithall to instantly disqualify yourself with some other lame photos on your profile, or evidence that you're a total beta orbiter doofus, like probably 80 to 90% of guys online are.
Also, it shows you're taking charge of your career in the first place, by having a profile on there, which shows a certain level of ambition.
Combine ambition with strong profile pic and alpha intent, and you have possibilities.

The ideal situation would be women contacting you from Linked-In...instead of the hit and miss method of contacting girls from their Facebook profile.

Start a Linked-In Group...i.e networking for beautiful single professionals in Miami...
market all the time to grow the list, then host small networking events, parties etc

At the events, make sure there's a bar. Number close/Facebook close
and then followup within a few days.

Wow...that's easier than I thought....it does take a little effort though.

For the guys interested in networking on LinkedIn, google "LinkedIn Marketer Pro" its an automated system with an email scraper, automatic profile viewer.. Automatic & mass messages etc.

It's a little pricy ($200) but if you're like me and use LinkedIn for business purposes it will save you tons of time. Made by a forum member at blackhatworld.

I know a cat who's actually swooped a few lizards off of linkedin. His strategy was like this: put up a great looking picture of yourself as you want to make sure that the girl you're going to hit on knows what you look like and if you're gonna game her she knows what she's getting into. Then he would message them about something related to their field so there can be a pretext to initiate the conversation. The next step is key - now he would get them on the phone to further talk about the topic of initial discussion, and then starts gaming them over the phone and try to gauge where they stand and whether there's a potential for a bang. He would also search the targets on facebook and try to find out more about them(single or attached, hobbies/interests), and during the phone conversation he would indirectly steer the convo towards what the the target is interested in and then try to build some rapport. Once some basic rapport is established he would slow burn them using texts or another phonecall and then try to setup a date. I think the phone call strategy is especially effective in screening out the no-girls, as opposed to setting up a meetup right away which has higher potential for failure.

I've worked on a couple of girls from Linkedin to mixed success. I see it as a greatly underused tool for Game. You can get girls who have much more in common with you than the random dating alternatives like Tinder and Okcupid. The other advantage is that you are approaching girls with their guard down.

I typically just add girls that have graduated from university or work with a similar background.

Some would send me a message straight away saying "I see you did this and this...". This is always a good thing. I would continue with an indirect approach and would close with what's her opinion of getting to know each other (simple soft close approach). Then work them on the phone and Whatsapp.

Transitioning or avoiding Friendzone and putting it in man to woman terms can prove difficult however and is the biggest challenge in this. Make sure your pictures are up to scratch and use it wisely.

But that's the goal, I'd sooner apply ideas set out in the, "seeking arrangement game" thread.

Ultimately however, I think it far more trouble than it is worth:

Actively using your profile to hunt is like shitting where you sleep.

Its just not worth it, especially with so many other, more efficient platforms available.

I have been using LinkedIn as an "Inbound Marketing" tool for girls. Now you can add a banner photo in addition to your profile pic. I have carefully chosen both my pics and have had a couple of girls from previous social groups look me up and initiate contact with positive results.

Now, I also use it somewhat for business and social proof for work. I work as a Lead Developer and CTO so it is important to me. And I think I have about 500 contacts. You need the paid version to see who has viewed your profile and I think over time it is a cost of doing business (and inbound girls) that can make sense.

So, yeah, you don't want to shit all over your professional rep, but if you play it cool then it is good social proof and inbound marketing for girls AND business.

With that said, I don't think it would work for everyone but it is something to consider.

Had some girl I use to work with 3 years ago contact me and start a dialogue.
We met up over coffee and I am sure she wanted a hook-up for a job but didn't have the balls to ask me.

Eventually you guys will realize you are going to run into women everywhere (including Linkedin). Improbable? Maybe. Maybe not. Always be prepared to take advantage of any situation that puts you within boner distance. You never know what might happen, trust me.
