On a website - I was looking through one of those threads of photos of hot girls who got fat.

I was just wondering why girls do this?

My thinking is this.

Girls prefer food to sex.

It is that simple.

Anyone got a better way of analysing shit like this? Because I keep running against this one simple thought.

I think your metabolism slows down somewhat around 25ish ...for men and women.
Men notice the change and hit the gym harder. Women notice the change and look
for a sucker to marry before they balloon up.

My point of view is that they're fat for 2 main reasons. Everyone is taught wrongful information about nutrition in general, but it affects women way more since they've been fed the lie that weight training will make them bulky.

When my diet was full of bread, and when I taught that I had to eat every 2.5-3 hours, I was getting away with eating to much of the bad stuff (lots of bread & wheat)by lifting heavy weight, which increases the speed of you metabolism after a workout for up to 5-6 hours.

I presume than less than 30% of women who train seriously lift enough weight to increase their metabolism. Most of them only do cardio, and then completely destroy their gains by eating a whole lot of wheat and simple sugar. Every one on this forum is aware of the lie on how to attract women, well another big lie is that losing weight for women is really not hard!! it's so easy that it's a joke when I think of what I need to do to stay lean while retaining my muscle mass!!

An adult woman is good health is around 110 to 125 depending on her muscle mass. At that weight, with a daily intake of barely 20g of protein, and by limiting her wheat intake and carbs altogether after 7-8 pm, all the female fat asses would be melting so quickly that people would be assuming that crack was doing it!! By having people in general believing those nutritional lies, western women get fat while the food companies get really rich!

I blame automatic dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, cars, air-conditioning and electric/gas heating.

A lot of men put on weight too in middle age but not to the same degree as women obviously.
I think it's a mixture of
declining metabolism- easier to put weight on as you get older

laziness- a lot of effort is needed to keep healthy and women would rather sit on the sofa and watch trash tv

no social shame involved- even though subconsciously people know being overweight is wrong/bad for you but no one tells them this so their ego/hamster can rationalise them as being curvy etc.


nesting- I think most people especially women naturally put on weight as a LTR continues as they don't feel they need to put in the effort, also if a woman does get fat her "husband" probably wont call her out of it so once again her hamster can say he still finds me attractive

Thirstness of guys - a fat woman can still get sex it might be a pump and dump and hes never seen again. But once again her hamster can rationalise it as men still find me attractive im curvy etc

Aside from the biology part which can be proven with science, it is this - no repercussions. They still get laid, some guy will give her dick.

With the internet so much easier to find the small percentage of crazy guys who will dick a 60 year old fat lady.

Information exchange used to be so hard so people had to impress those around them (stay in shape, etc.) now they can find someone regardless of how they look.

Here are my two:

Shopping and babies

Babies: Take your regular level of hunger and amplify it, you are now a pregnant woman, now add in a social licence to eat whatever you want with no guilt, now add in less excercise. Boom, you are fat, then after the baby what used to be most of your free time is now occupied with chasing a kid and not getting sleep, boom you are even fatter.

Shopping: As a young woman or college slut your metabolism is still high, you eat sparsely during the day despite drinking all night and eating 2am pizza. You also still walk to classes and bang on the regular. As you age you drink less, and now your hobbies are replaced with gossiping with friends, shopping for home decor, meeting up with the girls for lunch, and taking pictures of your food on instagram. Your old booze money is now spent on restaurants and while you are out shopping you pick up a frappucino from starbucks or meet cindy at mconalds with her kid for a play date, you of course have some yourself. Target is an awesome example, they put food right at the front of the store and I see bitches walking the store with some sort of starbucks milkshake on the regular. They have a car and so now drive everywhere instead of walk, they don't go out as often and so instead are watching netflix at home in the evening while eating ice cream.

Men also slow down and have kids, but they don't tend to spend their free time shopping. Guys that spend alot of time at happy hour at the bar or at lunch tend to get pretty chubby though. (I was that guy haha)

I think when a woman becomes a mother - she stops thinking of herself as a woman and instead sees herself as a mother.

As such - the part of her brain concerned about looking hot switches off and the focus is redirected to the part of her brain which wants to nurture.

It affects men as well. To be honest - I find the idea of sleeping with a mother a little repulsive.

Once they start shitting out babies - I can't look at them in the same way.

Our culture doesn't shame people for being overweight and we make accommodations for them. Women are brought up to focus on careers and being special unique snowflakes so they are not instilled with social norms of femininity and beauty. The social status quo has shifted in the past several decades. We live in an age where a woman can be a fat piece of shit, type up poorly composed sophomoric blogs, post videos of herself eating candy-corn flavored Oreos, and get boat loads of popularity, recognition, validation, and praise.

If they're married, I think it's born out of contempt for the husband. If the husband lacks masculinity or is simply a chump, she might be comfortable enough to not initiate divorce, but she senses that he as a sexual being isn't deserving of a slim, nubile wife. Just by instinct. It's incongruent for her to remain sexy, thus she blows up so that they're level with each other. Certainly they no longer love their partners.

I totally agree with this. I think it's a form of women subconsciously looking to shame their husbands -- which is borne out of envy and/or resentment: "You think you're so great, well, let's see how you handle a fat wife."

This is the woman's version of the man who cheats because he resents his wife's success.

I've also noticed a lot of women stress eat and a lot of women seem overly stressed on the job. Therefore, working woman = fat woman a lot of the time.

Of course, all the fattening, poorly-made food in the US doesn't help either...

If the husband is a beta, the woman will simply feel her provisioning, attention and validation necessities fulfilled and will make the minimum amount of effort on her person. That is logical as she has already a provider and is unable to compete with younger women, so why spent energy in being beautiful.

This not only happens during marriage. I have seen may examples of LTRs where the woman balloons after a year. In extreme cases of betaness, the woman compels the man to fatten up, in order to prevent other women from snatching the guy.

Also, there is some psychological evidence that wives relate their husband with their father on a subconscius level. Such explains the large amount of sexless marriages, specially after popping children.

Yeah, the quality of the food is obviously an overriding factor. If it were harder to become fat, most of these grotesque fatsos wouldn't have aggressively gone out of their way to get fat, torpedoing their bodies just to spite their husbands.

That coupled with the declining metabolism factor completes the other side of the equation. A good fraction of chicks never watched what they ate with discipline and are, frankly, slobs. Once that youthful metabolism, as mentioned earlier, fades, they don't have the lifetime habits that have become second nature to a guy who's worked to hone his body and nourish himself properly.

I'm no biologist, but is it also possible that pregnancy dumps a ton of growth hormones into a woman's body similar to puberty, but in a state where her growth plates are already fused or set, thus leading to weight gain rather than height?

Why do women out on weight?

Because it's easier than the alternative.

If government could gift them thinness, the same way its gifts them money via bullshit jobs and welfare, they'd ALL line up for it.

They don't choose weight increases because its the best optimal outcome from a choice matrix. If being thin and being fat was a choice that was as equally easy/difficult to accomplish, no one would pick being heavy.

It's because it is the easy way.

Men choose difficult paths (such as working out) because it is improvement. Women don't improve.

I agree with the earlier posts that suggest that women getting fat is a form of passive aggression against the beta husband. In my opinion - all husbands are betas, but that is a different story...

I sometimes hear married women at work talking about dieting and gaining weight.

And it always ends with them talking around and around the subject - but it is clear that the undercurrent is basically 'I'm not losing weight for my husband - if he doesn't like it he can fuck off.'

This is an easy question to answer. Women get fat because they're lazy, have shitty diets, and are afraid to take exercise and diet advice that goes contrary to what the mainstream says.

1. Diets: women eat horrible diets of comfort foods. High grains, low fat, low protein. It gets worse when they decide to go vegan as a way to control their weight.

2. Exercise: To make matters worse they focus on excessive amounts of cardio which makes them look older from too much cortisol and then they become skinny fat. Bitch please, you'll never get as big as a man because you don't have balls! The women that will stay fit their whole lives are the ones doing squats, deadlifts, benches, and other moves. Anything else is hamstering.

3. Attitude: The previous two mixed with the, "I'll find someone to care for me." Is the last straw. No fat shaming amongst their herb mentality.

Don't think for a second i won't be fat shaming my future wife. I need a woman that looks good on my shoulders for professional purposes. Do you ever see successful men married to heffers?

I depends on the person. Weight gain is psychological.

A person could be putting on extra layers of "protection" to keep the world and the others from coming in on them.

They may have the feeling they are always "giving away" so much of themselves that they need to "take in" (through food) so the don't wither away and disappear.

They could gain weight as means of testing if their lover "really cares" about them as a subject instead of an object.

I'm sure there are other psychological underpinnings than these, but over-eating and eating of sweets and the like is often a "freedom" seeking activity.
