This is not a video about a woman. This is not a video about abuse. This is not a video about a man abusing a woman.

This is a video deliberately promoted by the Google/government industrial complex to justify the growing police state we now have -- and to sell Google glass as a way to ensure women's "safety."

By making us all think this is a typical woman's day, they make us this violence is much more commonplace than it is and therefore we need more police in our lives. With the relaxation of marijuana laws, state and federal police departments are now seeking new ways to justify the budget money that *won't* be spent on pot busts.

So they need a new enemy. Surprise! The enemy is now you. And me. Women are just the unwitting footsoldiers in this war against the citizens.

(Background notes: This is the only video created by the account called "womansday throughglass" and yet it has over a million hits in two weeks. Who holds this account? Google/YouTube? How did it get popular? Who promoted it? And is this real or staged? The tone and quality of this video, and the fact that this account has no others, makes me think this is staged.)

It's like watching some woman's fantasy come to life.

Hahaha, that was hysterical. Let's be honest though, how common is this? How often does someone beat their wife for coming home late? I see it as propaganda being used by feminists to advance their agenda (ugly women who have never been loved assuming that all men are abusive sociopaths).

Little off topic, but I just wanted to add how fucking annoying these google glass wears are going to be in the near future.

Imagine this, your sitting in a coffee shop and every 2-3 minutes you hear:

"Ok google glass! google *author name*"

That happened to me the other day except the kid was using some type of smart phone.

I wanted to walk up to him and say "Ok google now! say hello to the floor!"

To add to the propaganda factor remember that this video was clearly made by men. Very few women have legit tech skills to quickly bust out videos like this. They always require a mans help.

The last 5-10 seconds or so just sounds like she's getting a spanking in the next room.

There may have been a time when I would have gone 'Woah' with some sympathy.

That time has long since passed. It's 2014 she could have this guy locked up in a second. Perhaps if we were talking about countries that are lesser developed it would be worthy of some discussion, however the level of protection women would receive in such circumstances is higher than its ever been and is so easily attainable that sympathy cannot be warranted.

ridiculous. Again, show me a white women with the affluence to afford google glass that is actually 'trapped in a violent abusive relationship' and I will start to believe this. This video should have been "a woman's day through texts on her shitty tracfone" and some sort of fight with her husband over the last beer, her messed up kids or how she had sex with his cousin in the next trailer over.

I also would love to see "a man's day though google glass" which would consist of him mostly rolling his eyes at 'women are victims' articles, his new health insurance plan that includes mandatory coverage for birth control and maternity and then writing a child support check to a woman who sends him a text that she is going to vegas for the weekend so "he can have the kids"

And, part of the smartphone thing is that you can operate in silence so there is some secrecy.

I thought about getting these glasses for work reasons. its highly useful for my hands on field to have a heads up display capability by voice. after this I never want to pay google a penny. any similar products out there like this?
