You're overthinking it. Go for it.

To break this down even further, you're focusing in and thinking about her too much and yourself not too much. Maybe focus more on your band and less on her as if the band has more value (therefore you). Once you have this or something similar in your mind, talk to her and she'll capture that and want you more.

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you mean by focusing on the band instead of the girl, and I like to think I don't give a shit about a particular girl, but sometimes my game just sucks dick (lack of congruency). I think I have a misconception in my head, like I have to live up to the level of game I was spitting the other night and if I don't I somehow failed.

I went in there earlier today and by chance the same two girls were working as the other night. I was just not the same energized excited self I was the other night after the show and my conversation with them was very mediocre. It's cold and shitty outside and my temperament reflected that. I wonder if they even knew it was the same person. I got settled in and got some work done (the main reason I was there) and of course managed to overanalyze shit on the side. Spit a few goofy lines at the one girl as I left but no real conversation/progress. Didn't manage to bring up the band or an upcoming house party we're playing at next weekend. Fuck.

Might be male hamstering here but maybe my incongruency adds to the mystery factor. I meditate to try to get my brain to shut the fuck up but it doesn't work as well as I'd like all the time. Horrible dry spell doesn't help matters either.

Let me put this another way.

Where did you go to tonight? Gas station?library? Did you randomly ask a stupid question? For example, ask the less than average girl behind the counter, where is the library.

Do this consistently with girls, kids, other guys and so on.
