Those tweets make him look like a simp; he's even less likely to get back with Duff now. Early reports indicate that going beta hasn't helped him much:

I am always amazed that Hollywood types think they can keep a commitment in a relationship, despite all the evidence to the contrary. People in that social circle should simply accept that there is no such thing as a committed relationship among them.

To be fair Hillary Duff is a personal 10 for me, mostly because she was an attractive girl on TV when a new friend called puberty showed up in my life. He's following a beta script, but at least it's with a hot girl.
