Wall women are 'worthy', red pill men are 'charmless' sydney edition
http://www.theage.com.au/lifestyle/life/...33bvf.html
To summarize: Old single blogger/copywritter/social media specialist/event management... list goes on (shit you not, she's got a resume on linkedln) goes to world's biggest blind date to land herself a man, gets negged and learns men have options.
Highlights:
Quote:Anita, a 32 year-old South African native, enthusiastically expressed her impression of Australian men. “I can’t believe how lazy and apathetic they are, they seem to lack interest when it comes to approaching a woman and prefer to sit back and let us do all the work.”
Karen, a 36-year-old lawyer, had similar sentiments. “I keep meeting unavailable men. In the beginning they say they’re looking for a relationship, then three or four dates in they change their minds. It’s frustrating!”
Tom, a 37-year-old chippie cradling two beers explained: “Hot chicks are everywhere, I don’t really know what I want right now, so if they’re interested, I let them come to me.”
Great demographic, bet that dude was wondering whats up with all the cat ladies, guess its pump and dump night.
Quote:In a last minute attempt to ensure the record was broken, I was coupled with Allen. Awkward doesn’t come close to what would ensue.
Exchanging pleasantries I hoped the hour would go quickly. My confidence was soon shot when he blurted he wasn’t surprised I was single, between my wardrobe (a simple black cocktail dress) and my bitchy face.
My bitchy face? “Yeah, you’re attractive, but you just look like a bitch,” were his actual words. I found Allen’s insights interesting considering he was a good half a foot shorter than me and didn’t have a single wisp of hair on his Mr Sheened head.
Cops a neg, great success as her hamsters starts rolling self esteem issues. And did anyone notice, he doesn't even try, almost a straightup 'Whatever, don't care if this tingles'
Oh, and some of the comments are great too

Example from the comment section:
"What you have failed to realise is that Men are tired of playing Woman's games.
Those of us that still interested, think that in these enlightened times of equality that perhaps it time that you 'Woman Up' and make the first move.
Those of us that feel that the 'Juice isn't worth the squeeze' have simply gone our own way.

Yes. Add to this the example of the women. All over 30. Women over 30 need to accept that they're no longer 'worthy'. They're past their use-by date and not worth the same amount of effort as a 20yo who's at her peak attractiveness.
Ditch the entitlement complex. You're equal now and shouldn't sit there all night waiting for the man to make the first move. You should do the approaching.
Ditch the expectations. You're in your 30s so the tall athletic types are now out of your league. Your league is now with the short, balding and fat ones on mediocre salaries.
The bitch face comment comes from the fact that so many women have a constant scowl and look like they spend all day sucking on lemons.
As you say, SHADO, most men are going their own way and the author's attitude displayed in this article is a brilliant example as to why. It's another princess with an over-inflated sense of self-worth and entitlement amidst an ocean of similar women.

I can't believe all the Prince Charmings out there didn't put their lives on hold for 20 years while women got ready...... The early "birds" got the Prince Charmings.

I think you've just proven the author's point about charmless men. Take heart, there are nice men out there who appreciate women and rate them on genuine qualities rather than just age.
James, plenty of women are in relationships in their twenties, some of them, like some men, end up single and looking again in their thirties. Nothing wrong with that.

Red pill to the bone. Thank god for captain-save-a-hoe at the end to save the day.

Now she knows how all those frustrated betas feel that she turned down through the years. Karma's a bitch.

"My bitchy face and dress skulked into the night, my friend’s experience, none more positive than mine, as she too was told she looked stuck up. As we contemplated surgery over another glass of wine asking each other in earnest if there really was something terribly wrong with us.
Now, not only do I have a complex about my bone structure, which apparently screams ‘‘evil cow’’, but the fact that a number of men confirmed what I’d feared … there are so many women in this city, they don’t even need to try."
I've heard around that negs don't work anymore. Perhaps not to get laid (but then that assumes that these guys wanted to lie down these 30-something near-wallers), but they still seem to work to get the hamster going...

He didn't go far enough. I would have said she looks like a crazy bitch.
She's just a plain, slightly-odd looking woman whose glory days are long behind her, and she's missed the boat for a quality man, but she doesn't realise it. Cue the standard "Where have all the good men gone" articles.

Or here, we have a group of unappealing 5-6's, with one who might have been a 7.5 or 8, had they other's not egged her to 'do something with her hair' i.e. get a dyke's cut so she'd stop getting all the attention.

Note the mannish #wolfpack tag. They're a bunch of aging women struggling with fading looks and excess weight still dealing with the frivolous, narcissistic concerns of media and celebrity rather than cultivating maturity. It's their very lifestyle and personality that drives men away, and they can't see it. Who wants a girlfriend obsessed with 'girl's night's out', tedious PR events and op ed pieces? You're not interesting or a decent investment for men. We're ARE judging you by your personalities as well as your looks. The men left who'll put up with it are the dregs.

she's unpleasant company to a man. It's not that they're 'strong', or 'empowered', or 'threatening'. They're just rampaging, superficial narcissists who behave in an unfeminine manner whilst constantly fighting alcohol bloat. No guy with options wants to get involved with that. C'mon, I can't be the only one who groans when a girl I'm running game on reveals she's in media or PR. Yeah, they're pump and dump material in their 20's, but in their 30's the alcohol abuse takes a harsh toll on their faces, and they're bitter once the easy cock dries up.
I don't think the guy in question was trying to neg her: I'd guess he found her tiresome and just literally did not give a shit about trying to impress her any further. I guarantee he was looking around the room for a more interesting prospect as he said it.
I don't think girls chasing the SATC fantasy realise just how unattractive that fantasy is to men.

Ya, the way she tells the story, as if he somehow accidentally stuck his foot in his mouth and then tried to backtrack is totally not what happened.
He was pissed at what a horrible bitch she was and didn't care if she ended up offended.
