Once you realize that women are basically grown up kids you can't take them seriously anymore (vast majority about 99% or so).

Sad thing is I actually believe it's true because the same shit happened with me and my ex. I didn't pull it off nearly as well as the dude in that story, but I was fucking my ex's friend a month after she said she wanted an "open relationship" (aka the day we broke up).

True, but IME any girl who would suggest any "open relationship" in the middle of dating you is a psycho manipulative bitch, and no matter how alpha you think you are you can never keep that type of girl in check all the time. Better to just move on once you realize it cause you can't win that game.

Funnily enough, last month I had an experience that was quite similar to the OP. Girl I've been seeing tells me she doesn't want to see me anymore, wants to break up, etc. etc.

I said, "What are you talking about? We never agreed to be exclusive in the first place."

But she insists on ending it anyways. So I say, "Let's go." I bring her back to my apt and fuck her brains out. Breakup sex is really intense.

Then I see her at a dance two days later. I'm dancing with other girls, flirting and having a good time etc. We finally cross paths and I hold out my hand, which she grabs.

I said, "I didn't know you were coming to see me tonight."

"Who says I'm here to see you?"

"Feels like you are."

Brought her home after that, banged her again. Now I'm seeing her again this weekend in NYC.

In my experience, if a girl actually wants to "talk" to you about the breakup, then it's nothing more than a shit-test you can overcome. There are many kinds of breakups:

"I need space" (you're too nice to her, she needs you to stop giving her so much attention)
"We're too different" (she wants to see if you'll fall for such a weak line)
"We should have an open relationship" (she wants to see if you can fuck girls hotter than she is)

The fact of the matter is, if a girl REALLY wants to dump you, you won't even get to talk about it. She'll be out the door, and you'll get radio silence. Maybe a text saying goodbye. But if she's still next to you, while saying she wants to end things or see other guys, then she's just having moments of doubt and needs more game from you. Follow her actions, not her words.
