I've read it elsewhere from many journalists that Russia is just very bad at Managin public relations with regards to how things play in the west. (Mostly because they don't give a sh-t.) The imagery is worse than the reality of it. Looks like they got the photo they hoped for. These girls are becoming quite famous in the west and this will only increase that.
