So, I've been approaching a couple of random times today at girls in my pool, in my school and publix (a store here in florida) and today it took me around 6 approaches before I had decent game and in the process lost a potential target (cute Asian girl , 7, with cute face and petite body who smiled at me) who seemed to dig me.

Some days I'm on fire when it comes to approaching even at the first time and days like today are brutal, where it takes a lot to warm up. I want to ask the newbies, the intermediate and the veterans, how many approaches before you're warmed-up? also does meditation help your pregame?

How are your Mondays or Tuesday when it comes to game?

I am gonna go against the grain and say I think it doesn't matter much at all as far as warming up.

The girl you randomly pick is much more important. Getting a radar for Yes girls is what matters. No girls will always be No girls. Guys with great game can turn some Maybes into A Yes. It's not common though and that's why it is a Numbers Game more than anything.

Guys bagging 3% of their approaches are doing very well.

Yes Girl radar is a big key. The target is much more important than your mindset imo.

This is very true, I think it's an instinct thing. Some days you just see girl and know she'll be receptive, even if she hasn't see you. What do you look for in a yes girl, or how does your instinct work? something that struck you, a voice, or an image?

I think like travesty444 already said it is important to recognize the girls who might be interested in you. However, I think it is not so important to do some warm up approaches but it is way more important to get yourself in a happy and talkative mood. You can either do this by listening to your favorite song or by talking to a good buddy of yours. After you have done this you will be more than ready to approach girls and your chance of getting her number will increase because you are in a positive vibe. This works at least for me pretty well.

Personally, I think the idea of "warming up" doesn't matter as much as just DOING THE APPROACH. In fact, it takes off the pressure if you look at the first girl as just practice. The tricky thing with day game is that unless you're in a venue with a lot of girls, there won't be many girls for you to game, unlike a nightclub where there are 20 other girls that are 5 steps away.

If you're looking for a good venues during the beginning of the week, here are my favorites:

Monday - grocery store in a nice part of town between 5pm-7pm. A lot of girls who were busy partying/brunching all weekend didn't pick up groceries for the week so they go to the market after work. You can even tell if a girl is single based on what she's buying, i.e. if she's buying 4 steaks she probably has a dude, but that chick with salad and a roast chicken is going home to eat dinner alone. Whatever food she has in front of is a simple way to start a conversation. I.e. "Those are pretty good crackers, but these ones are better... blah blah blah..." then segue into something like what you did last weekend and then ask what she did.

Tuesday - Another slow night, hit up a yoga, cardio or zumba class. Arrive 15 minutes beforehand and talk to chicks, then approach one after class and go for some digits.

Wed-Sat nights are for getting fresh girls or going on dates from numbers collected the previous weekend.

I think a really dirty little secret about Game is when a guy thinks he was on fire with a girl or was on fire during a string of approaches he really just either got lucky and got Yes Girls or had a good subconcious radar. His Game wasn't much better than usual, the girls were already into him.

I go for girls that go for me. Pure Latinas and Persians don't give me any play. Neither do really tan white beach girls. Fair skin white girls, mixed black girls, whitewash Asian and Black girls give me play. I see a pattern and I follow it.

Girls with lots of piercings or tatts also give me no play.

I don't bother much with these No Girls unless they give me interest. Trust me I still try with them and it is constanty reinforced. My Game is the same. Outcome different. Find your radar. I have laid these No/Maybe girl, there were tons of shit tests and attitude and it was not very pleasurable.

I go to University, so mondays and wednesday from 10am to 7pm are mostly classes. In the intervals, I approach girls that are on break or between classes, usually the ones sitting checking their phone aimlessly or just browsing the internet in the library. These days I get work and workouts done, so I don't go out.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, during school breaks (usually done by 11 am), go to the pool (there are always girls "tanning" looking for something to do) and happy hours.

Thursday-Saturday nights are for getting fresh girls as well. I usually just have dates during the day and unless something really fun makes me want to stay in ( like a new girl who has a plethora of toys) I reserve nights for fresh girls only.
I hit up the clubs, college bars or sometimes go downtown to clubs, bars and lounges.

I've noticed that staying home is lethal for your game. Even if when you're rolling solo or don't pull any girls that night, you always have new material and stories to tell girls when you're on dates or when picking them up. It just flows natural.

Still in a day where I haven't spoken to anybody (usually before going to class) I feel rusty. But I'll try to implement the yes girl radar, the pumping music and if I can, talk to friends before approaching. Tuthmosis had a thread that said he sometimes uses fatties to get momentum going, but I'm kinda against this. What do you guys think?

I just don't like the mentality of warming up especially in day game you may not get multiple great chances with a 7+ that fits your tastes.

I just go in with the mindset that I want to have sex with this girl, and start talking. Go for the gold on the first approach.

If you want to fuck her bad enough and your radar is decent I think you are as warmed up as you will get.

True true. Always go for bang! you're right. I can set my mindset better through music or talking to a good buddy, wasting approaches for practice is not my ideal either.

WesternCancer had an article on return of kings where he said you should look for niche, the girls you click the most with and the girls you find most striking. It's funny how you mention Pure Latinas don't give you the time of the day, they are usually the ones who give me the most play. Asian girls or a mix lately too for some reason. Tan white girls don't pay much attention to me for some reason either, I can still go for bang, but it's usually a bit of progress. Black girls (the preppy ones) usually are receptive to me and white girls are on the fence, but the whiter they are, the less potential.

Meditation is one thing, but deep rooted introspection is a must. Are you an extravert/introvert? Do you like any girl or have a very specific idea of a girl?

Because more so than being in zone/state, you have to really introspect as to what kind of girl YOU want. It's great if you can milk a niche where certain girls like you. But what if sorority girls love you and you want hipster girls? Or latinas when you want east Asians? Do you settle for someone you don't really want just because they like you? Some say the bang is king, but you might flail off course chasing random tail.

While it's nice if a girl gives eye contact or smiles or whatever, I find this is too much of a crutch to rely on. Game is likened to sales, but game is also primordial; it's lust... base level desire. They say women are the choosers, but why give them that power? If I like a girl, I go for it, regardless of what she thinks. I'll decide if it was worth the hassle.

Last year I felt I needed that '10 approach' sweet state spot; now I just go for what I want. Feeling positive, negative, HI or LO NRG, I don't care. If I want her, I go for it. You need to instill this bloodthirsty lust when you approach a girl. I don't want to feel this 10 times a day with different people, it's too exhausting for me; there has to be that one girl who just drives you mad; that's the one you must approach.

No matter how many approaches I do or how many sociable situations I find myself in; in the end I still default to a low key introvert; and I'm fine with that. From my experience (yours may vary) seeking girls to open to get into state actually further puts me in my head. Not even "what's wrong with me, I can't hook" but more so "wtf are you doing, stop wasting ammo."

Also OP, you're still in college - a great environment because sex is on everyone's minds. Just get all your prep work done (sleep, nutrition, gym, homework) so you'll be in tip top shape to open a girl you find remarkable.

Unbowed, l agree with the only approaching girls you like. Sometimes it's difficult to feign interest with people you don't like. It doesn't come on natural.

My "niche" is a combination of girls that find me attractive and I find attractive (e.g Hot tan Asians) and even though I've been more guilty of this than anyone, I have never liked the shotgun approach and now that you mention it, it doesn't bring me satisfaction as It was intended, specially in one of those days where "anyone will do". For some reason, girls I really like, as long as I'm true and honest with myself, will usually respond very well with me. Pretending to like someone you don't, just to fuck them is not my thing, although crushing ass on the regular with different girls has not gotten old to me.

I'm actually an ambivert, a combination of extroverted and introverted, so I get to enjoy really extroverted activities like parties, concerts, going out to lunch with buddies, debates and stuff, but quiet mornings alone and reading a good book never lose their luster.

I agree with all this. You can go after a type that usually isn't into you as a challenge, but honestly the more girls I lay the more I just want good sex with a 7+, my dick has no preference at that point so why waste time and energy on girls you have to put more work into is my thing.

I think if you haven't done 200-300 approaches, sure shotgun approach away. It is good even on 6's you aren't that into just to get angles, timing, spontaneous observations down etc...

I really believe after that you only make significant progress by approaching:

1) Girls that make your blood boil, the hotter the better, at this point ignore my point on radar, a girl that really gets you going is worth it no matter how long the shot is.

2) Girls that you would be proud to have boned instead of just thinking only a meager +1 in your head. These are the girls I tend to filter more. These tend to be 7+s that I would be happy being seen with by my friends/family/whoever.

I only find myself now opening 6's if I am in a slump. This isn't to improve my abilities or kill AA, it is just to get laid and keep my confidence up.

I think as you get further in Game and Red Pill in general you really start seeing how precious time and energy are and you become very discerning about how you use it.

Game every day.

From start to finish.

Some things I do to warm up are...
-normal morning routine: shit, shower, shave, other grooming.
-watch a sports channel like TSN, TheScore, Sportsnet, ESPN, etc. I put this on the TV and turn up the volume and listen to it while I wander around my apartment eating, messaging, emailing, basically just getting ready for the day. The commentators on the TV shows can get you in a socially-interacting-mood if you are as engaged in mainstream sports, as myself.
-go out to the grocery store and talk to the employees at each food section, such as, the bread bakery, seafood, the cake bakery, flower store, cash-out etc. Interacting with the people who work there helps you get in a talkative mood. Because the employees HAVE to been nice to you, its easier to practice opening people.
-go to favorite day-time venue: grocery store, book store, international market, pub.

If you are the kind of guy who uses something like roosh's 'sniper game', then pre-opening and knowing what kind of women you're looking for, can certainly help.
