Is this really an issue? I know of zero women younger than my mother who are victims of domestic abuse. Its an older women's victimhood, all of the girls now are victims of rape instead, its the domestic crime de rigeuer.

Does anyone else have any knowledge of under 35 women in Canada or America that have been beaten by their husbands or boyfriends? I know none, but I do know a handful that have claimed to be raped.

I really do not understand domestic abuse. How many men would enjoy seriously injuring a woman that they were at least at one time attracted to?

Aside from a few sick individuals, I struggle to understand the motivation to beat a woman.

How hurt are these "abused" women? I dude wouldn't have to hit a woman very many times before she'd die, so there seems to be some restraint, which suggests that he isn't just losing his cool and acting out violently without provocation.

The very fact that these women aren't constantly hospitalized with life threatening injuries suggests that these beatings are more so punishments that are delivered with some level of restraint.

I can't speak about history, but every single case of relationship abuse that I've been aware of, the woman seemed to get some sick pleasure out of harassing the dude into hitting her.

Victimhood is popular.

I'm actually in favor of domestic abuse barbies. We should mass-produce them and then give them to our little girls. It will teach them that this is how they will end up if they aren't good and obedient wives who treat their husbands right.
