Ah meltdowns make the forum an entertaining place.

Anyone concerned with rep points or their ranking system, needs to take a long look in the mirror and get their life in order. If they're basing their value on points and a title then there's a lot of work that needs to be done.

I posted a lot when I first got here. Have hardly posted at all the past few weeks. I read the exhortation to "senior members" to be on the lookout for trolls, but it seems to me that the board is only interested in certain types of bad behavior. We ignore the most common type of troll on this particular board - the uber-confident guys who really don't know what they are talking about. Then again, I guess if Roosh tackled that, he'd have no board left!

Anyway, the frequent bannings remind me of women's sites - Jezebel, feministing.com, etc - where anyone who voices a view that doesn't coincide with the world view of the site admins is banned. The better men's sites do zero banning - they allow all comment. Tom Leykis is an example - you can call his show or bang away on his blog with some real over-the-top stuff, or trash his show for that matter, and he's thick skinned enough to tear you apart with his arguments; he doesn't feel the need to "ban" everyone who disagrees with him or calls him a name.

I expected better of a board bearing Roosh's name. I hope this evolves to the free-wheeling marketplace of IDEAS that it could be.

Trolls can't work in pairs. Being in the vicinity of a killed troll sends them into a frenzy. Tuth brought down the Hammer of Troll Bane +4 ACV, and splattered the OP. His accomplice, lurking in the shadows, sees this gruesome scene of faggotry and purple blood spatter everywhere and couldn't contain himself. Dexter stands up and exposes his position, at the worst possible time I might add, as Tuth is standing there, still in ban hammer mode, troll blood dripping from his Hammer of Troll Bane +4 ACV. Tuth charges his weapon with a bolt of Balkan Power from the sky and swings for the heavens, sending the brave, but retarded little troll back to the NNF where he came from. The end.

My original point was that this forum, as great as it is, can be too quick with the ban, and can also be a little prone to group think.

And the reaction is a bunch of people saying "ban him!!", and no one who dares dissent.

I'm no sociologist but it seems to me like this is proving the original point.

Roosh launched a thread about FB pulling his account, and many of us (including me) lament feminist sites that only allow posts that affirm their world view. This place can be much better than those sites.

He's the same guy who was trolling the boxing threads and basically saying that Mayweather was ducking everyone with a pulse. The G Manifesto put a pretty good smack down on him, then he had the meltdown that Fisto just linked. The "Mayweather ducking troll" is an extremely rare breed. I think only one of them exists.
