HT to justfourguys for posting this great breakdown of the original article:

Marie Claire Wrote:The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks
After years of dating charismatic, brilliant, slightly off-their-rockers men who were never that into her, Laura Fraser learned to quit chasing unavailable guys and embrace real love.
By Laura Fraser

Han Solo Wrote:In light of my last post, How Women’s Delaying Marriage Unleashes Casual-Sex Hypergamy and Causes Average Men to Check Out, this article seemed like a great follow-up to show a real-life example of how a hypergamous woman will chase men that are out of her league for a long time, until one day, she finally wakes up and realizes that, fuck after fuck, she can’t get them to commit.

She's also a travel writer. "Loves to travel" should throw up around 20 red flags.

As for "Just Four Guys," I like the blog, but can't help thinking about an old SCTV mock commercial called "Five Neat Guys."

Getting pumped and dumped, and thinking it would lead to more.

Quote:Disappointing, but it fit my usual pattern. I would fall for a brilliant guy with an irresistible smile who never quite fell for me but who possessed all the qualities I liked in a man: a sense of humor, certified smarts, smoldering looks. Each time, these men—dashing chefs, moody architects—would give me just enough attention to keep me in their narcissistic orbit. Whether or not they'd ever call was just part of the thrill, always keeping me on edge. Outwardly, I told myself I was having fun and it was just a matter of time before someone wanted to settle down; inside, I started to worry that I wasn’t lovable or exciting enough.

Settling for the Beta

Quote:My friends were concerned. Sometime after the Brazilian, a buddy observed, "You need to be the Brazilian in your relationship." By that, she meant I needed a solid guy I could rely on. But was it possible to be stable and exciting? She had a point, but the kind of guy she described sounded so boring I figured I'd be better off getting a dog.

This was in the the first 4 paragraphs. I can't stop laughing.

Every since seeing the LOTR cartoon in elementary, I've always thought of goblins when I see woman with a fat neck. It used to scare me a bit, and now just disgusts from the correlation between the two. When these women start giggling around the fat I hear the Goblin King speaking. Shudder

How Women’s Delaying Marriage Unleashes Casual-Sex Hypergamy and Causes Average Men to Check Out

http://www.justfourguys.com/how-womens-d...check-out/

The last part of that article...

Quote:And the biggest incentive for most non-apex men is this: find a good woman in his league to love and be loved by. A society that removes this incentive from young men is a society where said young men will be much more listless and detached. In fact, I think this is one of the biggest factors in why so many young men are underachieving today–the incentive’s just not there for them anymore.

Never really thought that was the reason why some young men appear to be highly unproductive. But it is an interesting thought.

It is a good article - just long.

Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm." And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm."

Women and children can be careless, but not men - Don Corleone

She's not worth dating at all. No bangs. Nothing.

I wouldn't set her up with the weird dude that stays at work until 3 a.m. (when everyone else leaves at 6 p.m.). He could do better.

Seriously. She should have been slut shamed years ago but instead was told 'you go girl', ended up with tons of guys, did whatever she want against her own biological clock and then gets old and gets married.

She's almost obese and completely unattractive. What man would wife that up? Disgusting - she should be ashamed of her self - she's just another selfish self-serving carousel rider.

yeah seriously. The lame ass press sugar coats it like she was the victim as opposed to her just getting used by a bunch of guys who figured out she was slutty and then banged her.

When all this gets put through the was in 100 years or so the press will hopefully have a LOT to answer for. They are just awful in how they deal with the entire issue of Feminism. How the hell can Marie Claire give this failed women an outlet like this and in the process use her as an example of what women should be doing? That's scandalous and irresponsible.

She's an alpha widow multiple times over and hasn't figured out that her SMV/MMV is now much lower. She will voluntarily take herself out of the dating pool with grand proclamations of her incredibly rich life as a single.

Well ...

- if she had a bag over her head and I hit it from behind

I'd think about it.

Any attitude, though ... and I'm out.

Bang ... ? Why not, if you don't have to work hard?

20 years and 20kg ago, she might've been decently bangable. And cost very little but a wink and a drink.

However, at her current goblin state, she can still lock down a 6'4" good looking and solid beta provider.

The beta thirst is unbelievable....

Never really thought that was the reason why some young men appear to be highly unproductive. But it is an interesting thought.
After reading the manosphere for a while now, it just seems like 1+1=2 to me. Men used to be prized largely on their ability to literally and figuratively provide, sexually and romantically as a faithful husband, as a suitable father via his intellect and life experiences, and financially as the head of a household. A large part of all that obviously being having a kickass career.

Young women no longer care about having or raising kids, and they no longer need men for money-- OK, I can't complete that sentence without laughing. To rephrase, women no longer need to marry or even LTR with men to get an unprecedented amount of handouts of every conceivable form from them. Free meals, free rent, gifts, help from the government, affirmative action and diversity quotas to safely shuffle them though academia and straight into a cushy position in the workforce (RIP meritocracy).

I've seen it said around here a lot that money, more specifically high-income professional status, doesn't get it wet anymore. Women flat out do not give a shit, it is not the marker of social status that it once was.
Which of these two sets of guys do you think fuck more and higher quality women? Funemployed hipsters, DJs, musicians, club promoters, traveling blogger/writers with impressive beards Roosh?
Or doctors, lawyers, engineers?
And they wonder why fewer and fewer men are graduating from universities.

As a scumbag pseudo-vagabond musician, I'm hardly complaining personally; I love doing what I do and I love that it makes it immensely easier to get laid, but really, WTF do I contribute to society in the course of doing so? How much room in the world is there for guys like me to drop off the grid and go start a band? What happens to society when you deincentivize guys from bothering to establish a good career and be producers? Sooner or later society is going to start panicking and wondering where the fuck all the doctors, lawyers, and engineers have gone.

More on topic:
Holy shit, WNB. I pray that she is not able to ensnare some poor loser into marriage. Fuck off, fade from public view, acquire cats, die alone, and hopefully serve as a foil for younger women who know you (highly unlikely, but, I can dream right...)
