Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
Although mainly guys out for watching the games, it's also roughly spring break time as well right? Doing a little research on the forum it seems like a pretty prime time to visit Vegas. Can anyone confirm?

Would hate to go all the way out there and have it be all dudes.

It looked like a bunch of forum members went last year that weekend. How was it?

Thanks.

Can you say cluster fuck?

There will definitely be people there... Depends on what your intents are.

Yeah ideally watch the games during the day and party and game chicks at night. The first is a given. I just want to make sure it's not a complete sausage fest at night.

I've been out there for MM for...six years now? It's a sausage fest and things are more expensive than usual bc/of the MM traffic. Most of the girls that I meet there are either pros, there with their BF/hubby, or really into college b-ball (i.e., weirdos).

If you're going primarily to bet/watch on games and maybe pull some tail, then it's money well-spent. But I wouldn't go out there thinking that you're going to get some prime spring break ass.

I would just fly to DR or Colombia instead.

It'll be fun but a total cluster-f*ck with tons of dudes and pros everywhere, relative few single women percentage-wise. I think hotels will also be expensive.

If you really love March Madness and college basketball it'll be a hell of a lot of fun but I'd think it's not such a good weekend/week to game in Vegas. Even the Rhino would be overwhelmed.

Vegas always has available girls to fuck.

They key is to know your player skills:

-Are you expert level? If so, you'll always pull in Vegas.

-Are you intermediate level? If you put in the approaches, you should be okay.

-Are you a beginner? You might just get eaten alive March Madness weekend due to 3 factors:

1. You have to know how to spot pros. (Reference data sheets on the forum for tips)

2. March Madness will bring in an influx of dudes.

3. Due to the guys, girls will be getting hit on left and right, even more so than normally in Vegas. If your player skills are not on point, then you're just Lame Opener #582 of the night.

Analyze your skills honestly. Only you know your skill level.

RE: Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
My game is pretty solid. Somewhere between intermediate and expert. Slept with probably 30-40 girls last year from cold approach alone in NYC and various vacations.

I actually did March Madness about 6 years ago but I just stuck to the casinos cause my crew was lame and I wasn't good at going solo back then. It was a blast, but if I do Vegas again getting quality tail is a big part of the trip. So I might just wait for a more ideal weekend.

Thanks for the tips everyone!

RE: Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
Get a cabana and watch games in there since there is a TV inside (at a decent pool, not a pool party). When we did one at Mandalay Bay it was only like a $500 food and beverage minimum and we had like 6-8 guys there drinking and eating all day. Invited girls from the pool to chill out too.

Just make your bets in the morning at sportsbook, some may even have the remote gambling systems. Clubs seemed normal (I've gone maybe 3 or 4 times for March Madness). Its usually consistently the same, a high end club in Vegas is still going to mind its ratios and get girls in there free.

I find that Vegas is not really that big of a Spring Break destination as far as younger college girls are concerned. Its an older scene and while SOME do Spring Break there, its not something I would really take into consideration.

RE: Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
Ticket is booked for next weekend.

Was actually talking with Slubu and he's been to Vegas for March Madness a few times and said a lot of guys party too hard during the day which can actually make it easier at night because there is less competition. Plus there are some pretty massive shows next weekend. Avicii (XS), Guetta (XS), Afrojack (Hakkasan), and they always bring the ladies out.

Unfortunately for hotels, Cosmo, Wynn, Encore, Aria, etc...are all a little over what I'd like to spend.

What do you guys all think about Planet Hollywood? That's where my boys are staying. Doesn't seem like they've got a good club, but right across from MGM and Hakkasan. Near Cosmo too.

Could also do MGM, Treasure Island, Monte Carlo, or Mirage too.

Stay closest to where the party is at. If you're going to Hakkasan and Wet Republic, go to MGM. If you're going to Wynn stuff or Tao/Lavo, stay at Treasure Island.

I'm staying there the weekend after at Treasure Island. They have a decent pool with midwestern girls getting pretty drunk and a DJ that kind of encourages a pool party vibe (although the girls aren't as good). Planet Hollywood is ok. Its a huge property though with an annoying maze of a mall. There are day drinking spots there like Cabo Wabo, Blondies and stuff like that if you're not doing the pool party thing. Its also across from the Cosmopolitan (the MGM is to the left of the hotel a block or two down the strip).

Avoid the Monte Carlo. Mirage is borderline avoid as well. Just takes so long to get into the hotel, its kind of annoying and the rooms are a bit small.

Get on Priceline and Hot wire while referencing http://www.betterbidding.com and you might still get some of the better hotels.

Booked with my own room at the MGM for 4 nights.

Hakkasan looks like it will be popping Friday with Afrojack, and Saturday with Hardwell. Will probably try to go to one of those nights.

Anyone have any advice on good spots to check out Wednesday and Thursday night? I'm thinking more lounges/bars. If anything is particularly good at MGM that would be ideal, but I'm down to go pretty much anywhere.

RE: Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
Good move. Don't always be tied in with being in the same hotel as your "bros". You are your own person and its good to be spread out to have multiple rooms around the strip to invite girls up to.

Be careful with getting too caught up with the DJ scene, a lot of people go for the music and DJ and not to hook up as the primary goal.

Surrender is the best place on Wednesdays. It is a club though, so it may be not your cup of tea for that night. Thursdays is kind of a crap shoot. It has traditionally been Tao's best night. There's really nothing to recommend at MGM for lounges. There is a bar in the front of the hotel near Hakkasan. The Ultralounge there closed.

I'd say hit up the Chandelier and Bond Bar at the Cosmopolitan. I've had good luck at the Eyecandy Lounge in the Mandalay Bay as well, its just the in-casino lounge area. The Ace Lounge and the Gold Bar at Aria has high quality women and is a bit more upscale. If you want to go downscale, just bounce from bar to bar along the center strip.

I know the quality is VERY variable and is usually on the low end, but it may be a good idea to do one of the cheesy club crawls (either on a party bus or a walking one). You're in a big group and can socialize with the people there AND the ones in each of the clubs/lounges, you move from venue to venue and you have drink specials. If you're not familiar with the scene, its probably a good option, especially during spring break as many Vegas amateurs come through and do these. Groupon and Living Social have deals on them, just check them out.

RE: Vegas March Madness 3/20-3/23 - Good wkd for Game?
First off, thanks so much for all the tips Drazen. Much appreciated.

I've been to Vegas a bunch, but it's been 5 years or so. I've got 10+ people that I know staying at various hotels on the Strip, so I'll probably skip the Club Crawl since I'm not solo. But good to know about it.

I was thinking the Cosmo too so I'll def check out the main bar in that hotel.

And yeah, judging by the videos, Hakkasan can be a bit of a shit show with the big DJ's. Doesn't exactly look like the type of place you'd want to wear a suit since it's so crowded. Might still check it out since I do like that music, just maybe not wearing a sports coat. Or I'll see if I can get some buddies to throw down on a table. Unlikely though.

XS seems like it would be a better fit for suited up game, I just didn't want to stay that far down to that side of the strip. Maybe I'll still check it out. Just gotta remember the $10 cab trick to skip the taxi line if I pull.

Thanks again for the tips.
