well, at least you'll get on the wall if you're banned...just made it to 200. I agree with the idea of projection or over the top criticizing something something to provide public distance.

My favorite example, which I have told elsewhere brings me back to late high school. Junior league hockey players being over the top homophobic and then having weird locker room practices like circle jerking or everyone finishing on a piece of bread an making a rookie eat it or initiation sodomy.

As for the sliding scale of gay..no. I believe there is a line, once crossed allows the label to be applied...before crossing that line there is plenty of stuff that can just be labelled as 'weird'.
