If these harpies start doing this sort of stuff they can expect gunpowder that will take 200 years to get dry, we must retaliate.
Oh and I would also suggest we should buy Vince's book

I think the appropriate response is an article on ROK on how this mob mentality works. From screen shots, to reviews, to emails, just documenting step by step how crazy and deluded these people are. The more people you can expose to how censorship works on the internet through these types, the better.

All this happened very quickly, within just a few hours. It started with this tweet:
https://twitter.com/SaraCNelson/status/4...0484646912
It seems that this Sara Nelson (Huffington Post writer) originated the attack and used her credentials at Huff Po to get the book taken down. It wasn't a large mob as much as a butthurt media activist. Going after her should be sufficient.
I'd like to assemble as much information on her as possible before presenting my findings on a ROK post.
You can count on STW to publish an article naming names and doing what it can.
Vincent is well liked at Swoop. This pisses me off.
I pity all the women out their with rape fantasies. They are at a very tough time in the century right now being forcefully held from their innermost desires by other women.
Drazen 路 2014-01-31 14:25:00 路 #7
That is libelous to classify the book as such. The first step I'd do is have a lawyer send a cease and desist letter reserving all rights to the Huffington Post, her editor and her personally. They are pretty simple to do, we get them at work all time time, its usually the first step in defamation suits.
It kind of gets the ball rolling. No effort other than sending the letter out. It'll put them on notice at the very least.

Is this sarcasm?
Vincent's article was about the grey area that exists between, "I want to have sex with you, but I'm uncomfortable/don't want to feel like a slut" and "I don't want to have sex with you."
If anything, the article helps guys obtain consensual sex by making them aware of the grey area.

Free speech is an over-used theory on the Internet in my opinion...Amazon can likely do anything they want (I'm sure the agreement you sign to publish books on there gives them plenty of leeway)...hell, they didn't want to sell monster porn written by women. Also, I suspect actual legal action is not worth it due to time, expense, and discovery issues involved.
"Internet justice" is probably the better route if something is do be done.
It's adorable how these women don't believe that they have slut shields too. One of my biggest sticking points has been overcoming LMR, and I've only very recently experienced success. I've been told "that was the most amazing night of my life." I must be a horrible guy.

Man we are definately getting to them. First the facebook closing of rooshs homepage. Now they attack Vincents amazon book sales.
This whole thing reminds me of when 300 hundred of Spartans elite went to fight against the countless thousands of Persians.
We may be small in numbers but we attack with precision and our few hundred active members here/ROK contributers will stand against hundreds of thousands if not millons of white knights and feminists in holding onto and voicing our message.

True. But keep in mind the way these people think.
Amazon/Facebook removes ROK or other politically incorrect things: "They're a private business. They can do what they want."
Amazon/Facebook removes things with breastfeeding, nudes, or men kissing each other: "Even though they're a private business, we're the customers and they can't just do what they want because we keep them in business."
People were saying "It's their business" when the Duck Dynasty guy got suspended for coming out against gay marriage. Had he gotten suspended for saying "Gay sex is a turn on!!!" something tells me they would have been singing a different tune.

Feminists and white knights have to be the biggest paper tigers in this modern era.
Through the internet, they are loud, aggressive and constantly threaten other people.
Yet, when confronted, especially in real life, they crumble almost immediately.
She clearly used her position within Amazon to get the book taken down so quickly. No question.
EDIT: It appears Sara Nelson and Sara C Nelson are two different people and she apparently does not work for Amazon. More investigation is needed.

Yeah I noticed that. The threats. Maybe these fights need to be in the streets.

DBA, of course I agree with you, but in shall we say WestCoast-style thinking, I'm thinking about a) what end result is desired and b) how to go about getting it. I mean doing nothing is also an option...VV has not chimed in (time diff I guess), so who knows. Maybe he'll just shrug it off. However, this highlights the reality of relying on popular electronic distribution networks (FB, Amazon) to sell or publish controversial information.

To be fair right now its past 3 am in bkk where he lives. I am sure this news will exasperate his hangover tomorrow if he didnt know about it yet.

So let's come down on her like a hurricane and unfuck this by the time he wakes up.
I think ROK needs an article defining the difference between a game book/article and an official rape guide. Just to clarify things to the world.
Such strong, fearless, independent women...until somebody says something that hurts their feelings.

Good idea, but where would you find an "official rape guide" to compare game books to? Has such a thing ever been written by anyone in history?
