Try Blow fish.

Might not be big on your list (Fisto) since you have a lot of military background. But I think I'd want to try surviving in a remote environment, with a minimal of gear. Like Survivor Man, not Bear Grylls style.

Restore a 1965 mustang.

Victory over America Palace, Giants Causeway, and The Door to Hell, Turkmanistan. I've seen 2/3. Awesome places.

On a serious note, pretty impressive pics/locations.

I'm a big what I guess people refer to as a "foodie" (although I hate that phrase). One of my bucket list items was to eat at the oldest restaurant in the world, Casa Botin in Madrid. It was a very nice experience.

Also on that trip I visited Valencia, where I had Paella where it was basically invented. Went out to the La Abufera, which is a rice field/lake type place where they get the special rice. It was a great historical kind of tour, I appreciated it.

I put the Hokkaido Prefecture and snow festival on my list several years ago and still can't seem to get there. Between the forests, hot springs, ancient castles, sushi, and ramen, it is worth at least a one month trip. Cost is a bitch though.

Welcome to the club.

We were meant for far more than to suffer in our self created prisons only to die alone. It doesn't have to be that way. It never did.

Everyone should jump out of a plane at least once. Should be alone, not one of these tandem jumps.

RE: Must Have Experiences, Must See Places, Around the World
One thing I can recommend to everybody is to travel through whole Russia from east to west with train in third class and drop off in various cities along the way.
Stuff WILL happen. Great experience.

Another memorable experiences that pops up in my head..

Hitchhike in Iraq.

Being escorted in to the city of Quetta,Pakistan by five policemen on a pickup truck with a machine gun on the roof meanwhile sirens and bluelights were blasting.

Eating Cobra and drinking shots of fresh snake blood in Vietnam.

Visiting the monster dumpsite outside.Manila. 12000 people are living on site and what the dumptrucks are bringing every day.

Shooting with bazooka in Cambodia.

Sipping beer on a float in Yangshou, China. Absolutley stunning.

Visiting the 4th reactor of the nuclear powerplant in Chornobyl and Pripyat ghost city in Ukraine.

Experience white racism in Korea.

Underground parties in Tokyo. The biggest freakshow on earth.

The Nazi concentration camp in Auswitz,Poland.

Trekking in the Himialayas in Northern Pakistan. Perhaps the most stunning scenery on mother earth.

Hell yeah! Now this is the travel thread I've been looking for.

I often get laid less when I'm away somewhere because I'm out having these types of experiences.

It's all these experiences that pay me back in the long run and get me more often laid when I share them with girls. I have framed personal photos and art pieces all around my apartment from the places I've been. My stories and relics located in my apartment are a museum to me.

RE: Must Have Experiences, Must See Places, Around the World
Back in the 80s I would spend weeks lost in the mountains of Big Sur CA on my Dirtbike running into all the hippie camps in the mountians where deadheads were free living, doing meth, shrooms , ex, weed and drinking the whole time. I thought I was going to wear a white robe and sit on top of the mountians like a sheep herder or something. I would keep meth for going down a big mountain where you just locked the rear brake up and slid down tapping the front once in a while. One day I ran into this little town where everyone rode dirtbikes. Only dirtbikes and it had one trailer store that sold beer and shit I thought it was heaven.

[attachment=16782]

I was riding this bike because it was street legal.

These are places you need to BYOP. The journey is better than the destination if you travel right. And from experience, citing basic knowledge of a country to a chick will get you a little point, but bring up some real obscure shit that only the locals know, like the pics on this thread, and her face will light up as she knows you no shit really did some hard research on her country. Crazy part is, most chicks have never been to these places. Scholar game recognized.

RE: Must Have Experiences, Must See Places, Around the World
I still want to do the Warrior Culture Conquest. Hit up every war torn shit hole around the world where the life is hard and women harder. In basic order:

Israel- They have some hard core training camps to get up to speed on martial arts and small arms. Women are hot and all do military service.

Lebanon- Close by and the women aren't impossible, but require skill. That place never recovered since the '70's.

Kurdistan- They don't fuck around up there, but bedding one of the women would be an accomplishment.

Eritrea- Requires some visa and time. Constant bickering with Ethiopia has made them hard.

Georgia- A political clusterfuck depending on which side of the country you are on, but this could be an easy spot. A lot of Americans there, but most are teachers.

"The Stans"- So much potential, but I can't remember which ones might pay out pussy dividends, or are fucked up from Russia. I saw some hot bitches though, if can overcome the lack of English.

Nepal- Not on the list per say, but I'd like to stop in a get some hard training with a kukri.

Russia- Estonians BEGGED me not to cross the border for several reasons. But a transcontinental train ride would be epic. Its not 'war torn', but I see a lot of fighting involved, and honestly, Russians scare me, so I'll probably just leave them alone. I'll meet you on the other side.

El Salvador- Spooky. But hot pussy. Fucking place was just recovering form the 80's, and now the drug trade is botching it up again. Think of it though as a pussy preserve, keeping the normal simps out.

R&R- Every other month take a two week break in between target destinations to rest, resupply, top up on pussy if the previous places weren't panning to well.

I think this would be tits for a blog, and could last a solid year, with a book deal. Am curious as to a kickstarter campaign on this, without mentioning the pussy factor. Would make a killer Youtube channel, but you'd need two guys with some background. I'm 6 months out from getting my leg back on track to tackle this adventure.

Some repeats, but there are some new ones in there.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/ariellecalderon/...re-you-die

The "Swing at the End of the World" looks real legit to me.

http://www.boredpanda.com/amazing-places/

I think all or most of these are in the first link.

http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/

Also, UNESCO gives you "world heritage sites" to see in just about every country. The sites I've seen so far on this list have been impressive and I'm sure a lot of things mentioned so far are on there.
