LOL "Gender Swap" Device

"Talk about going on a gender bender.
A new machine created by a Spanish design collective combines virtual reality with advanced neuroscientific techniques to let men and women swap bodies with each other. Called The Machine To Be Another, it's all done in the hopes that body transference will help scientists explore and quantify concepts like sexism, gender identity, and bias.
Based in Barcelona, Be Another Lab is made up of Philippe Bertrand, Daniel Gonzalez Franco, Christian Cherene, and Arthur Pointea, a collection of interdisciplinary artists whose fields range from programming and electronic engineering to interactive system design and neuro-rehabilitation. Together, the goal of Be Another Lab is to explore the concepts of empathy through technology, science, and art.
In most neuroscience experiments that examine issues of empathy and bias, participants "trade places" with others using digital avatars. If a study wants to explore empathy for the handicapped, for example, scientists might sit subjects down in front of a computer and make them play a video game in which they are confined to a wheelchair, then ask them a series of questions about how the experience made them feel. But none of it is real.
Be Another Lab takes a different, more visceral approach to exploring empathy. Instead of using digital avatars, the group uses performers to copy the movements of a subject: for example, racial bias is studied by having a subject's actions mirrored by a performer of color.

My bet is that girls would much rather see what it's like to have a dick than guys would to have tits and no muscles.
Not saying that I don't like to see tits and pussies etc., but I couldn't care about what it looks like to see from the POV of a camera on some chicks head.
People want so badly to switch genders. Why? Isn't it "sexist" to even say that men and women exist as separate things? Is it really possible to have androgyny and transsexualism at the same time? Doesn't eliminating male/female binary take the fun out of switching?
To a greater point- this is the most superficial way to have "empathy" for the other gender. The truth is that men and women have brains with biologically gender specific wiring. I'd be curious to see if the gay/trannies brains are wired differently from the heteros..
Does a femmy gay guy's brain look like a woman's brain?
Does a butch dykes brain look like a dudes brain?

RE: LOL "Gender Swap" Device
This so-called experiment will fail.
The end of the video said it is a feminist/queer rights intersectionality project.
The listing of all the disciplines involved is supposed to "wow" the viewer, thinking of all the genius and knowledge involved in the project. All the chatter over empathy, respect is nothing more than "forcing those hyper-masculine men to treat women better." Are they going to show all the privileges -- especially pretty women -- get? Did they reference the "The Myth Of Male Power?" Or is it going to one, massive male-shaming event where we have to deeply empathize with the modern woman's cloying fear of men. Once again, don't these people understand that feminism is coming from a psychological stance that "all men are beasts?"
What these fools don't get feminism isn't about equality, but about labor costs, consumerism, whatever is going to make the system money and keep it in power. They found an excellent demographic in women, as they are more malleable than men and they also give birth, meaning that they can move men out of the home and keep them as wondrous producers and consumers.
This whole "walk a mile in somebody's shoes" is a pretty self-absorbed approach. It is one thing to experience what another has experienced, but it is a whole other thing to expect to draw the same conclusions you did. We see this with women claiming to have been raped and then use that alleged fact to shout down discussions of rape and what it is about and its prevalence. Apparently, in the West, we let people who we are told have been "oppressed" to not just detail their experience in ways we cannot question, but we must also allow them space to draw unassailable conclusions from their experiences.
It's all madness. The are still using the term gender to describe what should be appropriately labeled sex. Like going to a doctor's office and having a sheet ask you what your gender. What, you want to know about my social constructions?
Still, I don't know how they can create the experience of being gay or transsexual. Are you going to temporarily alter a person's sexuality? How can you even begin to approach the so-called experience of being born in the wrong body? What is it - gender is an entire social construction? So transsexuals are only discriminated against because we socialize men and women differently? In the Edenic world of pre-patriarchy, transhumans were free and clear to identify among of the teeming multiplicity of genders? So people are born gay and in the wrong sexual bodies, but everything else is a social construction?
Fucking idiots.
