The Church declares war on "gender theory"
"Poland's powerful Catholic Church has declared war on "gender theory", saying it undermines the traditional family ... The theory explores sexual orientation and the roles assigned by society to individuals based on their gender, but the Polish Church has borrowed the English word "gender" to refer to a range of issues including contraception, abortion and homosexuality.

While many say gender theory promotes tolerance and understanding towards gender equality and homosexuality, the Polish Church has branded it a mortal danger to families, child sexual orientation and humanity. Polish bishops wrote a letter on the topic that was read out in every parish across the country over the Christmas holidays. "This is a preventative offensive," sociologist Edmund Wnuk-Lipinski told AFP. "The Church fears social change and it especially opposes gay marriage, something that's happening in other countries like France or certain states in the US."

Inspired by then pope Benedict XVI's remarks in late 2012 about the "falseness" of gender theory, the Polish campaign has taken on epic proportions and sparked a fierce, high-profile national debate. The Church letter to parishioners alleges that gender theory has "for the last several months been introduced without Poles' consent within various social institutions: education, health care, non-governmental organisations and cultural institutions".

The bishops cite Marxism, feminist movements and the sexual revolution as having inspired the theory, which they say is "contrary to the traditional view of man". They warn that gender theory allows an individual to "freely define himself as a man or woman and choose his sexual orientation". The Church views the traditional definition of family headed by a man and a woman as the basis of society... Among the more extreme examples of the scorn heaped on gender theory, priest Dariusz Oko said: "Gender ideology is in some ways worse than Nazism and communism." "It leads to the destruction of the nation" because it "destroys the family," he said. This view has been echoed by Poland's political right, with a minor opposition party recently launching a committee against gender theory in parliament. Committee members have assigned themselves the task of "protecting nursery school children against a sexualisation (introduced) under the guise of classes on gender equality" that were co-funded by the European Union and other international organisations. Following warnings from Polish bishops and right-wing politicians, parents in many schools across the country have demanded that such classes be banned."

RE: The Church declares war on "gender theory"
"Gender" theories will always result in the destruction of a society.

Early feminist texts obsess over boys and girls being socialized differently. The young girl feminist looks over to the boy playing with trains and guns and silently fumes that she could do all that to, if only she was told to. If only women were told to be engineers, shave their heads and eat out other women then true liberation could be found.

Oops! I forgot sexual orientation was inborn but any expression of said orientation was socially constructed.

Jimmy: "Gee, why are people born gay, straight or bisexual?"

Feminist: "Well, I don't know Jimmy, but your incessant questioning comes across as homophobic. It just is, Jimmy. Accept it. Evolution explains it. Plus, the expression is always socially constructed. Because of evolution. Check your privilege."

The Church can feel the social bombs going off around them, but not being able to recognize what exactly is going on around them. Liberal detractors get to paint them as ignorant of their theories, as if knowing of their theories legitimates them. Further, they get to paint the Church as temporally ignorant. In other words, the future is progressing to this, so let it happen. It's another tool in the feminist toolbox that allows them to explain the devolution of society.

The narcissism is on full display with the claim that "they are the future." They are the heroes, they are saving society from itself. Just like the generation that went through the '60's thinking they were going to lead profound social transformation. They eventually turned to political quietism in the '70's when they realized their movements were never going to lead to that.

It reminds me of the ending to "The Butterfly Effect." Lying about the past in order to reform the future will never work. The feminist activists will lie with impunity about how men could beat or rape their wives at will in the past and that is why the present is better. It is their way of expressing distress at the current social malaise or their personal issues at the expense of long-term social health. The past is always over-the-top bad and some Eden is navigable to in the present, rarely in the feminist declarant's lifetime.

The Church is trying -- vainly -- to resist the the corrosive effects of Western narcissism. It is fighting the good fight, but the dominoes are already set at the collegiate level - the supporters of psychological insanity are already in place.

Cite America all you want, but we are nothing but a rotting husk of world power. America died decades ago.

RE: The Church declares war on "gender theory"
I feel if church would awake from its dormant sleep and really push for traditional values instead of just doing lip service, then it could make a big global impact for good.

But the firsts steps for church should be:

1)Telling young girls to only marry and give virginity to guys whom their father has met and approved.
2)Telling wives to obey their husbands.

As long as church doesn't strictly prescribe these things to the faithful women and doesn't repeat it trough all it's channels daily it has made itself irrelevant.

They're barking up the wrong tree, though. They mostly have issues with sexual education classes that acknowledge that homosexuality is normal. Banning those classes won't solve one yota of the sexual market's problems or save the family. At least it is like that over here.

They should campaign for abolition of alimony (if it exists there), upper limits to child support, removing the threat of jail from child support, restoring the burden of proof required for rape and domestic violence claims, promoting submission as a virtue, etc.

So you're saying that all churches should convert to Southern Baptist? They definitely use those points. Catholics have really watered their shit down over time.

I think it would be best if redpill did not align with a failing institution that espouses the belief in an all powerful ghost that doesn't exist.

The church and feminism actually have great deal in common because they both promote bullshit beliefs in order to get and maintain power. Both of them "lie in the past or present". You could easily substitute the church's "god" with feminists' "patriarchy". Both boogeymen are magician's tricks designed to displace responsibility and refocus peoples attention away from the power grab.

Redpill is about getting closer to truth and honesty and seeing through the bullshit.

Kudos to Southern Baptists if they do that, but there is no need to convert, just emphasize what is already present in all off Christianity, but is being neglected and silenced in this age.

I am talking about what Catholic Church should do. Catholic church leads the christian world. Protestants will be reacting to the catholic moves by either mimicking or protesting like they always have done.

Ya, 'barking up the wrong tree' is correct. We don't need to worry about gays ruining marriage. Heterosexuals already have.

If redpill is about truth, and I agree, you desperately need to learn more about the church you like to disparage.

The Catholic Church, and no other, is the reason why Western Civilization rose to prominence. Without the Church, there would be no America, Europe would be a dark continent covered in forests where magic and spirits would be invoked for the reasons for things no one could understand.

It was the Catholic Church that gave birth to science, the demystification of the unknown. It led to capitalism, and all things that have happened since, good and bad.

By 1500, years before the reformation, Europe was already solidly on the path to world dominance.

A year from now you'll wish you started today

If they are so great they should go one step further- the next best step for civilization and admit that there's no god or that they have no reason to believe in god. They could end on a high note. Recognize any good contributions from the past, and peacefully disassemble itself instead going out like a chump.

Religious institutions can be a force for great change and a force for great evil. Roman Catholicism is a huge part of why the West is as it is, even if you don't believe in the idea of an all-powerful God.

How can you say that there is no God? As a red pill man, when Genesis clearly states that God kicked out Adam from paradise for listening to a woman, how can you say that there is no God?

Perhaps blue pill religions have created some sort of caricature of God in your head and you deny this caricature?

Nowhere it is written in the Bible that God is an old man sitting on an edge of a cloud, you know. It's just how blue pill sheeple imagine it to avoid telling their children that God is the masculine altruistic force perceived trough highest functions of neocortex superimposed on egoistic, feminine and feral macroscopic physical reality perceived trough limbic system.

The ancients knew this shit, but had different names for it (terms of Kabbalah), but children needed a simple explanation and when children (read:women) started teaching children - all that remained was an image of an old bearded man sitting on a cloud.

Is this the same church that suppressed Mendel's work on inheritance, run by a Pope who refused to look into Gallileo's telescope? Come on, man, the red pill is about truth, not wishful thinking. The Catholic Church represents the patriarchy that feminists fight. But that does not make them our allies.

Not enemies either. Traditional Catholic teachings channel many themes which revolve around women fulfilling their natural roles.

It is not an accident that a traditionally religious girl (not new-age religious) tend to be prettier and more feminine.

Mage, god as he is described in genesis is an ancient alpha warlord- a tyrant king.

There are two types of people who worship alphas: women and bottom gays,

This is a popular topic in computer science today. Every week there's another article about why there aren't more women in computers. These articles, when they're written by women, are invariably written either by a professional journalist, a professional feminist, or someone who's marginally involved in computers; for example someone who's a designer, which is much more about art and psychology than the insane amount of detail involved in getting a computer to execute that design as a set of instructions. The motivation is always "I didn't choose this career path, but more women should". Always trying to inspire with words, not actions.

I have a good friend whose wife was brought up Catholic, though he & his wife are Baptist. His wife's family is quite conservative. They're out there, even in the US, but because of the structure of the Church, it's hard to fight the tide.

I don't care what the laws of countries are and how powerfully they are enforced, an institution with the size and influence of the Catholic church makes an official statement that God does not exist and sheer chaos erupts in many areas of the world. How does that help any red-pill enthusiast?

RE: The Church declares war on "gender theory"
Not a believer, but am baptised, confirmed, and went through the whole Catholic school bit. The Catholic Church provides some good services to the poor and gives comfort to some inherently decent people that some of us would be glad to have as friends, neighbors, drinking buddies, or some combination of the three.

Unfortunately the message and the good works are tainted by the years and years of child rape (no BS "regret" accusations when the kid is 7) and the subsequent cover-up by the Church.

Huge role in history, no doubt. Some of the schools are excellent. The message can be good and respect to the social services, but an ever fewer number of westerners will take heed of the Church's "gender theory" when that same Church shuffled pedo Priests from parish to parish.

Maybe. Historically, spouses specialized. Men worked in the external labor market, and women worked internally on domestic chores and child care. Husbands built marketable resumes, while wives developed nontransferable relationship skills.

The problem is that a wife runs the risk of being dumped. She trades her youth, beauty, fertility, and domesticity for security and support. She is not going to invest in a relationship without protection. So strong marriage and alimony laws were necessary to enable a long-run marital contract.

Then new labor saving devices and increased wealth reduced the need for labor in the home, and birth control enabled family planning. Suddenly women were getting educations and careers. Women no longer need the same level of economic protection. Meanwhile, many men don't want to be glorified cubicle dwellers. These men prefer to sacrifice material standards for the freedom to travel, cook, write, exercise, and contribute to their own domestic life. I can totally see Roosh writing from home and raising kids in ten years. He would be much happier than finishing a masters in biology at Johns Hopkins and getting a promotion at his old biology lab. His wife would find it fulfilling to work outside the home too. It's a win-win situation.

So yes, the anti-establishment men on this forum benefit tremendously from learning game and getting women without slaving at demoralizing jobs. Roosh would not go back to the lab for double his current income. The beta/IRT/career guys with no game lose under the new rules because they need to lever their career status to impress impoverished women.

I know there are people who are better than me at all that. You are missing the point.

Just because there is something more powerful than me doesn't mean I have to worship it or like it.

God is a semantic hiccup- something that is supposed to exist outside of existence. If there is a "god" or intelligent "masculine" force, then.. it is.. it exists. There's so no such thing as supernatural. That's a mind game.

I have respect for things that are greater than me, of course, but that's different from worshipping something that doesn't exist.
