@OP, do yourself a favor a go a language school in Antigua, Guatemala. Also, you are not farther than a day bus trip away from nice beaches in Belize and Honduras. And Costa Rica/Havana is like a 2 hour flght.

Tell them you have alternate accomodations...and get a casa particular. You don't have to stay in a hotel to study at the university of havana. I'd just tell your school you have friends that you will be staying with and as such you don't require a hotel. What reason could your school possibly have that requires you to stay in a hotel? There can't possibly be any unless they are teaching classes within the hotel which is highly improbable.

I would definitely say Cuba without even have gone there (though am going in May). I have been to Ecuador though, and I wasn't much of a fan. Never been to Quito but been to Guayaquil. I can confirm that a) the women were not pretty at all. After walking around for at least 3 hours, I probably saw 3 women I would actually pursue. I can also confirm the flat ass and granny panties. I used to bang an Ecuadorean girl and she always wore granny panties, plus just walking around, some of the girls have outlines of granny panties in their jeans. B) it definitely seemed dangerous. The streets are virtually empty by 9 o clock. C) the food is terrible for the most part. I found mcdonalds, empanadas, and burgers to be the only tolerable food. Even the grilled cheese sandwich with ham I had was terrible, how do you fuck up a grilled cheese? I walked around for 30 minutes looking for food when I finally settled in Burger King because nothin else looked appetizing. D) people for the most part are pretty rude and also somewhat primitive. I watched women in crowded food courts breast feeding their baby's and when they were done just let their tits hang out for a good 5 seconds.
E) at least in Guayaquil (which is bigger than Quito) there didn't seem to be much going on. I arrived on a Tuesday night and asked what there was to do that night and the lady looked over at me and almost seemed like she wanted to laugh and said, "it's Tuesday, there's nothing to do on a Tuesday night."

I really did enjoy montañita however. It seems that if you're visiting Ecuador, the places to be are smaller towns, like montañita or baños. Don't go to Ecuador to bang women. I wouldn't say don't go there at all, just don't move there. I'm not super well traveled but of the 6 countries ive been to, Ecuador is definitely on the bottom of the list. I was in Guayaquil for 1 day, and knew that day that I had to get the hell out of there (I ended up stuck there a second day and it was miserable). The only real redeeming factor i can think of about Ecuador is it had great landscapes. I'd say it's definitely worth a trip, just wouldn't be near the top of my list. Cuba seems to be good. There are some obvious negatives in Cuba as well but it seems like the type of place where the positives out weigh the negatives, which in Ecuador isn't quite the case. It seems it could have decent schools too. Though someone disagrees earlier in the thread, I hear cuba has really good doctors.

hmm im reading strange things in this post, for me there are tons and tons of hotter woman in Quito than the one posted. Just go out in the Mariscal and you will see plenty. I do agree that there are not many 9's or 10's, but plenty 7 or 8's IMO. Haven't been to Guayaquil but it is known as a shit place, on a tuesday night in Quito you can def go out, although it wont be as strong as on other days.

And regarding the hotels, the 'lets get back to my hotel' strategy worked well for me. Banged a 8.5 second night I went out in Quito. Im tempted to post the picture but lets say she was well above the one above. In general a lot of girls do have problems with hotels though, but so far thats a general thing for me, havent been to any place where its not like that.

And yes in general at the coast girls are a lot easier and also prettier in my opinion. But, especially where i am living, its also very poor and shitty and danger is always around the corner.

You're saying some contrarian things on this thread. I think if you posted some pics of the kind of girls in Ecuador you think are 7s and 8s that would be helpful. Either we missed out on seeing 7s and 8s or your rating system is completely different.

Hey Sylo and thanks for replying. Im also American, but of Mexican descent (Mexican American). I could probably pass as a Cuban in Havana and I know fluent Spanish but with a Mexican accent. Not sure how this will affect my game there. My only issue is getting around the hotel situation since I will most likely be staying at a hotel in Havana. Thanks in advanced.

RottenApple - In all honesty some of those girls are better than what I was expecting and from what I personally saw in Quito just out and about. However, Cuba has got to blow that out of the water. The racial mixing alone (African, Spanish, Native Indian) has produced some exotic chicks. Plus it's a Caribbean island so you know sex and dancing is a big part of the culture. It's not going to have that conservatism you find among certain South American chicks. Cuba all the way OP.

There are lots of Mexicans in Havana. I was just there and saw plenty. It shouldn't be any sort of negative. The hotel situation is simple, tell your school you have alternative accomodations. If not, rent a casa particular as well or find unlicensed accomodations. If unlicensed tell them you'll give them $300 for the month. More than that is silly. A licensed casa particular will run you more...generally speaking you'll pay between 400 and 900 for a month long stay at a licensed casa. Negotiate. The amount they ask for can always be lowered. Generally speaking aim for 60% of the daily rate. So if they ask 30 a day aim for 20 or so daily (600 a month).

A hotel is a mighty cockblock in Cuba. Just ask the hookers...one of the first questions if not the first they ask is where are you staying, casa or hotel...

Using girls houses generally speaking isn't an option. Of course there are exceptions to this, but remember 99% live with there parents and 90% sleep with more than 1 person in a bed. (i.e. girlfriend sleeps with grandma.)

There are cheap options to Havana as sylo has alluded to in terms of spending. Eating in street food type places etc. You could legitimately do this and eat a balanced diet for under 5 dollars a day. You could also go to the likes of Le Chansonnieur, Atelier etc...and spend $100 a day eatting.

One tip I will give you that will be invaluable, is when you go to a restaurant or any place, look at the decor, and what types of cars / people are there. If it's expensive i.e. plates are $10+ expensive for Cuba, you should see modern automobiles outside / quality decor. You will often get hosed. I got hosed twice on my recent 32-day Cuba trip with bullshit restaurants. Close to $20 per person for absolute garbage because I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings / and there were obviously multiple menus. One with stupid high prices the other that the Cubans order. Same food just 10 times the price.

The closer you are to tourist places the more likely you are to get hosed. A restaurant that is typically outside of generally populated tourist areas that is full likely will have quality food.

Nightlife in Havana is not particularily cheap because you are always going to be paying cover. There are a bunch of horseshit cheap options i.e. yellow submarine, el coctelito, tikoc, cabaret nacional but expect the chicks to be of similar quality + few options.

There is a heavy hooker scene. But recently Cuba has allowed private citizens to open up there own bars...often there is 0 cover or minimal cover. Can be good date spots if you aren't particularily budget conscious. Think Shangri-La, Tres Medallas, Melon, 3D cafe etc.

Bottle service is cheap compared to 1st-world rates. What makes nights more expensive is many places will charge you first to get a table and then on top of that bottle service. So your $30 bottle of Anejo blanco (3.80 or so in stores) then becomes $50. (30 bottle + 20 for table).

There will be lots of younger people studying at the university. I don't mean to be rude but the ones I met when I studied there typically were of 2 categories. The men were not getting any pussy. The females were getting Cuban dick.

Why is this? Well the men were low budget tourists without the macho presence that alludes countries like Cuba. They were happy go lucky but lacked the ability to sexualize an interaction. The woman were getting hit on left and right and just had to show up to get laid.

The guys who find Havana very easy are typically locating themselves in the poorest areas, Habana Vieja, Centro Habana and have a preference for darker woman of mediocre looks. Or the guys who are with a higher budget of say 150 + CUC a day not including airfare.

There are 2 currencies but it doesn't mean one is tourist and one is Cuban. In order to live all Cubans use both currencies. It's not as if tourists are paying 1 Convertible Peso and Cubans are paying 1 Cuban Peso (worth 1/ 24 CUC) for the same thing.

A restaurant that has a CUP menu is more likely to be showing you the real menu. I don't think I've ever had anyone show me a CUP menu that was phony with inflated prices. With that said many restaurants charge in CUC. Note: You can pay in CUC for CUP items generally speaking. You should pay between 1 CUC for 23 - 24 CUP depending on the place.

Keep me updated if you are going to be there in May. I'm going to try to be there April and May.

Cuba has good doctors that lack equipment. I've had to go to the hospital a few times and have a couple friends who are plastic surgeons.

Alright fair enough. For me a 5 is not bangable and these chicks I do think are bangable, a 6 would be on the limit for me, so I consider them 7 with the red one a bit higher even. I do like blacks and latinas though. The girl posted before is a 6 for me at highest and probably a 5.

My mom is from Zacatecas and my dad from Sinaloa in which I did two threads on, you should check them out if you haven't already. I go back to both places very often. I plan on living for at least a year in Mexico in the future. Pretty cool place to live in.

Can you post a pic of a girl you think is a 5 but its not bangable?

What I noticed also here is that there is a big difference between day and night. Indeed in daytime it can be very poor. However in some malls you can def see girls of that level with good frequency. Fi in Quito in the old centre the quality is very poor, very indigenous style short and fat girls...
however if you go to the clubs in the mariscal at night the quality will be a lot better. Hard to say how many are south american touristgirls or girls from other cities studying there (fi colombianas).

And the ratings: lets say for me a 6 is a girl who might have a great body but an ugly face or vice versa. In some cases (while drunk) she would be bangable. A 5 can be a girl very close to that but one which I would consider not bangable, but from who I know that many other guys would def hit (of my friends fi). A 7 is like the ones I posted, imo they are not superhot but they dont have any real weak points, face is ok, body is ok. The one in red is def an 8 (or 8.5) imo.
