If I meet somewhere at a bar, I usually send a message at the exact time we agreed to meet saying "I'll be there soon, just finding a place to park my car" or "Almost there, traffic is not on my side today", even when I'm just in my car waiting.

They usually reply by either saying they are there or they are on their way themselves. In the second case I stay in my car for 10 more minutes reading rooshvforum threads.
