It would be nice if the prosecutor added a bunch of trumped-up charges, and she was thrown in jail for a term equal to convicted rapists. That's one way to keep these bitches from ruining the lives of innocent men.

Rape is a horrible crime, deserving of horrible punishment. With that in mind, false rape accusations are also a horrible crime, deserving horrible punishment - false allegations destroy good men, and are a disservice to actual rape victims.

This is why I always try to get a women to text with me soon after. If she sends a nice, warm text she can't really cry rape later. My rationale about it anyways.

The story in the OP is the most harmless possible example of this because she did not accuse anyone in particular of raping her, she just made up a story about some unknown rapist out of the whole cloth. She is supposedly going to be charged with making a false report.

The case in Collide's screen shot (which is a completely separate story) is much worse. This bitch falsely accused a specific guy of raping her, and if the cops hadn't caught her lie she could have destroyed an innocent man's life forever. And this one, of course, will not face any charges.

Yes, I agree. Getting raped up the ass in prison after ending up there on false charges, based on a single witness, is a horrible crime.

As a former defense attorney, I have mixed thoughts on this.

I had cases where the prosecutor threatened to prosecute complainants and witnesses who recanted. This often happened in domestic violence cases. In turn I once threatened a prosecutor with a complaint to the bar association and told the judge it was intimidation of a witness.

If they start hammering complainants who recant false charges, that just might mean that more complainants won't recant and more innocent guys will rot in jail.

If it's a matter of a rape charge being proved wrong by video, text messages, DNA or other evidence, then yeah hammer the liars.
