Did I wait too long to make an approach?
Last year, I made a failed approach on this okay looking asian chick who hung out with me and my friends at school before class. The semester before, I thought she was giving me some indication of interest, even though I was totally blase about the whole thing. I got her number in a real passive way, saw her sitting alone so I chatted with her for a while, then asked for her number. She gave it to me and I texted her the following Sunday (got the number Thursday). I asked her out in the text, using some of Roosh's text game, but got no response. It was def she wasn't interested, as she stopped hanging out with us. I texted her causually a week or two later (made a joke about how the group was becoming a sausage fest or something dumb). She responded, and I wrote back "About me asking you out, not interested or didnt get the text?". She writes me four days later "I have a boyfriend". I reply "sure" and never talk to her again.

Was I too passive and turned her off, or did I read too much into it?

RE: Did I wait too long to make an approach?
Good that you got the number, but prior to getting the number it doesn't sound like you did enough to attract and convert her. I can tell by what you wrote that your game isn't developed at all. You don't know enough to talk about the details so that your attempt can be fully analyzed.

The reality of most chicks 4.5 and above is they already get a fair amount of attention on and off line, but most of it never meets their impossible standards.

So if your texts, fb messages, phone calls go unanswered it's because your approach and interaction wasn't strong enough to overcome her General apathy and reluctance to entertain some random dude.

You're still in some random dude territory. This number is probably dead and you should move on.

It's also funny that you mention she was only okay looking. If that's how you felt, it's either sour grapes or you weren't really attracted enough to put your best foot forward.

but you already knew this didn't you?

A little from column A, a little from column B. I was more interested in getting over my approach anxiety and grow some balls.
