Yes as I recall the Turkish men usually get nothing better than 6's, unless they are living there and have some status, I have seen the odd Turk with an 8. I understand what you mean, it could be seen as a blessing because the Turks set a low benchmark that other foreigners can only rise above.

As you said Turkish guys seem to hang around in packs and all frequent the same club, ie Vodka Bar in Kiev. So then if you don't like them you know where not to go.
