I personally use an aeropress for my own personal consumption since its a better cup and more controllable for my uses, but when the bitches are over, I use the Moka Express.

What is it about the aeropress that makes a good cup of coffee? Haven't come across one of those before.

I've had this model blade for pig hunting. Bought a used one for $75 from another hunter 20 years ago. It's not just for sticking pigs, but also cutting brush and even chopping down small trees to make trails in Hawaii's dense rainforest. Love my knife.

And here's my piece holstered right next to my blade when I hunt. Ruger Security Six .357 Mag.



Stainless steel with rubber grip. I often wade through shallow rivers and streams, or get drenched in rainfall while hunting, in addition to often slipping and sliding in mud and dense brush. I've had this gun get fully immersed in water and mud caked...and still had it work flawlessly when needed.

And if I get home from a really long day of hunting and am exhausted and don't want to clean it until the following day, I 'aint worried about it rusting or corroding overnight.

Anything from Lodge. Nothing in the kitchen is cooler or more masculine than cooking in cast iron, except cooking in iron outside over fire. I had built an impression but it all got stolen. Back when though I hosted impressive dinner parties, and one of the guest favorites was these:


   



   


I heated up the bowls in a Delongi convection oven, then fill with chili, sprinkle with queso and onion, and stick a cornbread cactus out of it. Amazing presentation. Doing individual french onion soups was another hit.

I will replace all my iron when in a more permanent setting. Did buy one of these, which has replaced many of my crock pot functions.

The Pax Vaporizer by Ploom, my new favorite toy. Perfect for travel, discreet enough to sneak into concerts, parks and the like, and a great excuse to have a girl come to back my place at the end of the night.

A little pricey at $250 (last time I checked), but worth every penny. Especially when you consider:

1) How much a vape saves you on material (because you're not burning most of it off in the smoking process). This fact alone essentially pays for the vape given enough use, regardless of which model you go with, as you'll end up using half the herb you'd normally need.

2) The health benefits of not inhaling combustibles and carcinogens. Exactly what you end up inhaling depends, on course, on what you're putting in the bowl, but generally you'll get just that active ingredient along with some water vapor. Waaaaaaay better than tar and smoke particles.

3) How much fun it is to use. This thing is like the iPhone of vaporizers. It always gets oohs and ahs, even with stoner girls who have tried vapes before. There's no buttons or knobs, you just turn it on by popping open the mouthpiece, then pushing it back down when you're finished. The one light on the front changes color depending on whether it's heating, ready to go, charged, dying, etc.

It's especially handy when you're trying to be discreet. While the vapor will certainly retain a distinct odor, it won't stick to your face/hands/clothes like smoke will. And if you exhale into a sploof (an empty toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets) there's absolutely no scent at all.

In terms of bang for your buck, sheer quality, sharpness, ease of sharpening, durability, nothing beats the Misono UX10. You can buy them at http://www.korin.com A decent sized one will set you back $200 or so. A UX10 chef's knife will take care of 90% of kitchen tasks. They make every type of knife you would need, from fillet knives to paring knives. These need to be sharpened with ceramic water stones, which you can also buy from http://www.korin.com I would highly recommend you buy the knife sharpening DVD as well. Do not have them sharpened at a locksmith or grocery store; they will grind your knife down to dust. Do not use electric sharpeners or oil stones on these knives. They will last a lifetime.

If you guys don't want to shell over 2 bills for a kitchen knife that's fine, I'd still recommend a Togiharu (can get for $120 or so) over Shun or any German knife. There's nothing wrong with Shun, Messermeister, or Wusthof, and I own a few of those myself, but there's better bang for your buck out there.

It might not be the "true" definition of manly.
But they make straight razors with disposable razors.
Ive got a "real" straight and a safety razor, but on a daily basis along with traveling..I have a simple one with replaceable blades.

A friend gave me the razor and i bought pack of 100 blades last year for about 9 dollars
toss the blade twice a week and you still spend less than 15 dollars a year on razors.. If I ever lose the razor..its cheap to replace.
I feel like i get more flexibility than the straight razor also since i can get a smaller edge
