My best friend's younger brother is about 26 years old, has a bachelor's degree in finance. Decent-looking guy, not Clooney or Pitt but not Quasimodo either. He's been dating a Lindy West-sized porker for the past couple years and recently got engaged to her.

His older brother, my best friend, is pretty familiar with red pill principles and is worried sick about this slow-motion trainwreck catastrophe. He feels like he can't say anything himself to his younger brother without incurring his wrath and causing him to dig in his heels even further. We can't figure it out. Is he worried he'll be alone? He still lives at home with their dad so this might be a way to move out of the house. He probably makes low-thirties since he resides in the recent college grad/entry-level part of the job market. His brother fears that as he gets older and moves up professionally and stays in shape (the guy is skinny as a beanpole), he'll come to hate himself for marrying a fattie and cursing himself for leaving better pussy on the table. He wants me to intervene and talk to the guy but I don't know how I can tell him "Don't be stupid and marry a fat chick when you're fresh out of college" without causing major offense. I feel like my best shot is to frame this as anti-marriage in general and not anti-his fat fiancee, give him the soft sell as "marriage is not the right move at this stage of your life." The guy to my knowledge has not been exposed to the manosphere.

That's a tough one. One of my friends left the army and married his first girlfriend at the age of 18. She is frumpy and now a porker. They sit around and eat fast food for every meal and there is always a cake or cupcakes made when I visit. He is getting fat now too, and they have a kid. I wish I could give you advice, but honestly haven't we all been there? Dating someone who is a shit choice but we thought we were in love? I don't think there is anything you can do without making him resent you and his brother.

When I was his age I was a huge dork. I couldn't have done much better. In fact I know I couldn't, because I didn't. I'm not exactly pulling all Victoria's Secret Models all the time now at 35, but I do a LOT better than that. This guy is making a tragic mistake. I almost hope he descends into mediocrity for his own good if he goes through with this.

I had a pretty sexless existence in my twenties because I was only willing to dumpster dive so far. No doubt average guys in their twenties that don't have any Game are at the bottom of the dating market, but men and women have such different life trajectories. Being a sexless omega in your twenties is no reason to give up hope.

1.) How good is the sex now? After kids it's downhill (for a guy like him)

2.) Is he genuinely physically (not emotionally) attracted to her?

3.) Does he feel he could do better?

4.) How much does she care about her clothes?

Does she care if you are hungry?

Does she have a loving family and close friends?

Does she have an inner life?

Does she like children?

Does she want a big wedding?

Does she wear sensible shoes?

Back in 2009 i had a close guy friend dating a really fat girl.
She was 18 he was i think 28.
She was around 225 pounds
Had 1 glass eye and one real eye.
Horrible bitchy attitude that made her always at odds with her family.
His family was very church going and was always open to having different people come over. I was always welcome to visit...she was told in no uncertain terms to never come back.

During the summer his father, his close friend and myself had an intervention with him about her.

If you bring up to the guy the fact that his old lady is a fat ass so he shouldn't marry her, I have zero doubt you (or his brother) will be the one looking like an asshole. And as much as I detest fat women, you would be an asshole for doing that.
