Sharpening my hand planer blades. Just get into a nice rhythm when honing and stropping, like meditation.

Golf. Ain't nothing like a shot going exactly the way you planned.
Also belongs in the 'things you hate more than Lindy West' category.
This is such a good thread. Can't tell you how many times I've nodded along.

Drawing.
Specially after a long day at work.
The very first sensory and visual cues that indicate a very intense psychedelic experience is about to ensue
That feeling you get when you walk into a venue where your value is extremely high
The moment where you get a girls clothes off and assess how she stacked up to your mental expectations
Beating a guy of similar-level game going for the same chick
The rush of caffiene from slamming a can of Monster in the morning
Having a plan and anticipating every possible angle, knowing you have it under control
Presentations at school. I love the challenge. I look at it as a 5 minute opportunity to DHV as much as possible to a giant class of hot bitches
wrestling/jiu jitsu:
-beating a better opponent that I probably should not especially if by complete victory (submission/pin) or an extremely narrow margin
-a hard earned takedown
-the look from an opponent after time expires in a period and I've absolutely dominated.
the gym:
- the last set of a heavy lift
- dopamine rush after running for an extended period
other:
-cooking and then eating amazing cuisine
-water while extremely thirsty
-first sip of a good whiskey
I love to sight-fish. When fly-fishing a river for large spring chinook or steelhead, my ultimate pleasure is to spot a fish holding in the current and cast so accurately that the fly drifts into the fish's mouth. Set the hook, and a violent battle ensues, giving a whole new meaning to the word "hookup." About 50% cannot even be landed, so many get away. Obviously my score on "spot and bang" is much worse.
