I hate coffee/pub dates where you have to sit in front of the person for hours, so i prefer taking them for a walk. But what do you do in the winter when its freezing outside?

Take a "walk" to another, nearby pub.

After a while at venue #1 entice her over for further drinks and "privacy, because the bar here just seems impersonal" or you have this or that at your pad you want to show her. Pretty basic stuff here.

Winter sucks for the fun/easy/last minute sort if dates, I know, I'm in northern WI.

I've been in several coffee dates in the past where the bang was possible, but fell off a cliff because I didn't switch the place up and keep momentum rolling.

You can also hold her hand or offer your outstretched elbow to "support her" if the ground is icy. Certainly helps up the intimacy before the kiss.

That said, I don't know any method other than going to another venue. A meandering walk without a goal really seems out of the question in that environment.

Bundle up in large coats, scarfs and gloves and go for a winter walk. Easy for me to say, I live in California, it never gets too cold.

If you need to walk indoors, put some alcohol into some juice bottles and walk through the:

Museum
Mall
Shopping center
Grocery store
Office building

"Let's walk to X."

"Wow, it's really cold out here. Lets stop by my place on the way and warm up for a moment. I'll show you XYZ thing I told you about real quick before we head out. It's really cool/funny."
