Yesterday ROK put up a post describing how video games are being ruined by girls:

Cannot help but shake my head at the pathetic means women reach for to piecemeal some facsimile of self-identity, and worse yet are the idiotic simps that buy into it and perpetuate things. A 6/10 puts on a Zelda shirt and your heart rate speeds up dude? Fuck's sake.

Attitude of the average guy into videogames, "Yeah, videogames are pretty sweet."
Attitude of the average girl (who claims to be) into videogames, "OMG I love video games so much! I'm such a die hard gamer gurl! Paaaay attentioooon to meeeee! I'm a GIRL who likes VIDEOGAMES! See how unique I am?!"

I've noticed the same shit going on with girls that say they are into sports, cars, mathematics or science, military shit... What a sad existence; defining yourself through something you don't even really give a shit about for attention, usually in the form of a terminally misguided attempt to get in your pants, from someone you'd never even consider fucking anyway.

I have to wonder, do the girls who actually have a genuine interest in these things -though rare they do exist- find these types equally obnoxious?

I have a couple of guys who rent my house back in the states who are about as hard core games as Ive ever cone across. They'er solid dudes. I don't have to worry about them throwing parties and fucking my place up. I can't even trust myself as far as that goes. That said i can quote my buddy as saying "you can't tease a girl when flirting with her that's just wrong." or the one time he brought a girl over she was super hot and really cool. What did he do? Left her in the livingroom with the wolves and went to play games in his room. Not for a bit but for the rest of the night. In the 4 years Ive known him he's had relations with an ex girlfriend wh cheated on him an kicked him to the curb 3 years before only once. Ive tried feeding him the red pill. He constantly sees me drawing home strange. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. So sad.

These type of gamers are weird.

They make fun of alpha men, yet 90% of games they play are transparent beta male power fantasies for the socially-impotent: you're an alpha dude with a voice like McQueen gargling gravel, impossibly-exaggerated muscles and sexy-but-tough girls hit on you without any effort on your part.

Every female character they play functions as A Man With Tits, and resembles no actual woman in existence, because she's not allowed to be anything other than Powerful if she's Sexy.

They only fantasise about male virility, action and agency.

Video gaming is one of the few spheres were woman like cult celebrity worship can be found. Tons of thirsty dudes worship "gamer girls" and "nerdy girls".

Look at Jessica Nigri's huge following.

I do admit though cons are great venues for pickup, no competition and tons of insecure chicks.
