It doesn't matter what a man does for a living or how successful he may be, he would trade it all just to be a rock star. Look at all the actors that have bands. Kevin Bacon, Johnny Depp, David Ducovny etc. Even Bill Clinton appeared on live TV playing a Saxophone. Obama did "Slow Jamming the News" with the Roots on Jimmy Fallon.






What about women? I watch the show Ink Master sometimes. There's one female tattoo artist, Tatu Baby. She's a very talented artist but she still poses for model types of photos. It's like the merit of her work isn't enough for her and she wants to be known for being a hot piece of ass.

Rockstars have a reputation for doing whatever they want and slaying every piece of ass that comes near them. Also music is a fun outlet for creativity n shiz

Female models have a reputation for being incredibly desirable and getting easy access to all kinds of dick, money, drugs, and basically any other materialistic whim they might crave

Despite what the PC-feminist complex wants to believe, girls just love being slam pieces.

"Career" women claim that their best features are their drive and ambition, but when the sun sets they still pack on the make-up to go out and prance around in small dresses and heels to take pictures of themselves and their friends.

Why do when you can just be? Doing is hard. Being requires little.

It boils down to the fundamental difference between men and women.

Men, in order to attain attention, societal respect, and social status, have to do, while women can just be (good-looking). Surely selective pressures have altered human psyche accordingly.

How many men in today's world get a free pass to bang young chicks? Even a multimillion dollar CEO would get socially reamed for pursuing cute young girls. Rock star is the only career that passes the slut radar, so that even seething feminists give them a pass.

Actors are too easily framed as family oriented. Then you would get reamed for being a cheater.

To the media, rock star is synonymous with drugs and partying. And that passes the slut radar.

I think the women-want-to-be-models part is more true than the men wanting to be rock stars. I can think of examples of famous men wanting to be athletes (Mickey Rourke, and there was some rapper who tried out for basketball), rappers becoming actors (Icecube, LL Cool Jay, Will Smith, etc.), actors becoming writers (Ethan Hawke, Steve Martin, James Franco), athletes rapping (Shaq) etc. I am not sure the generalization that all men want to be rock stars holds.

Evolutionarily, it makes sense...for men, any form of status and success will do, while for women, being a "slam piece" is paramount for reproductive success.

A lot of guys saw Elvis and the Beatles and thought that was a sure fire way to get a lot of good poon. It still is, but times have changed and men can also use game to get a lot of pussy.

In fact it almost better to not be famous because you have less of a chance of getting clingy girls and paternity suits etc.

They do it on the side though. Creative people tend to be creative in many different forms. Each creative outlet helps to inspire the others.

While I do agree that your statement is true, they tend to do painting or writing in private and out of the spotlight. Music is always your first love if you're a musician. Music is living art. It's very "in the moment".

Here's a project someone can try if they're in LA:

There's camera crews for hire who will follow you around at night, taking pics when you get out of a car, etc. Hire them and try it for a night in Hollywood.

Girls won't know who are obviously, but they will still circle like buzzards over dead meat, because social peer pressure requires that they be IN the loop. They do not want to miss out on the 'next big celeb' and for all they know you just got the lead in Avatar 15.

I've never done it, but have known people that have and it's quite effective.

At least for the ONS.

^Correct, however I'm not delusional to think that most times if I'm at a table with Colin Farrell, he's getting the pick of the litter and the remaining 'scraps' I'll handle.

I've out gamed some celebs, but celebs with Game + Fame are unstoppable.

The fact that I have out gamed some celebs is rare though, considering I'm probably in the top 5% in Game.

I was randomly approached at a food festival on the weekend by a couple of younger filmmakers who said they recognised me from the chorus of the theatre production I was acting in back in October, that my look and presence was exactly what they were looking for in their lead character, and would I be interested in starring as the lead in their independent movie.

The ears of every girl in the immediate-vicinity *instantly* pricked up through the conversation. I'm always amazed at the incredible social-awareness attractive girls have. I was being intensely-scrutinised and girls were on their best behaviour, with open body language and welcoming smiles, that made the girl I was with cling to me possessively.

She wouldn't shut up about the offer for the rest of the night, and mounted me in the car before we even left the carpark without me making the slightest effort to game her for sex in the vehicle.

I suspect this is why guys become rock stars and actors. It makes women so easy that if you lack game or attractiveness, they'll bang you anyway.

Not big ball trolling: I've still got to pass the audition. I doubt I'll do it, especially as I got the 'we don't have money yet to pay anyone' speech that I'd expect from a millenial in the creative arts.
