Dr is probably as easy if not easier than sea if you are into black women. I can't say that I am. Still 4 girls my first month isn't bad if you take that into consideration. The gold digging and hustling seems to be much worse but I'm getting a specific sample of women.

I'm up in the northern beach towns. I'm pretty impressed actually. It's an awesome set up here, though it's not too great a spot to find chicks, at least in cabarete. It's the perfect date location. It's a refreshing break from Santiago, which I'm pretty burnt out on after a few weeks.

My next stop is Colombia for a few months.

I'm definitely not "struggling" in the dr. I just don't find many women attractive here and don't really dig the culture. The girls most people are banging here don't pass the boner test for me. That's cool for them, I'm not criticizing it, but it's just not my cup of tea. I'd rather whack off than bang a big 3 or 4 girl with a huge ass and bonk face. Even skinny black women that are attractive are rare for me.

A lot of people don't like Asian women and I frankly take no offense.

But it seems like a lot of people here are offended I don't find most dominicanas attractive and don't really like the country. It's one of the most popular countries on the forum so I just decided to see what it was really like.
I guess not everyone is in love with the place.

It's not that they're offended. It's obvious that YOU FAILED to read the shit ton of DR info on this board before spending your money. The topic of color was covered repeatedly and in depth.That was a mistake and you won't just own up to it.

If you like a nice ass then DR is not overrated. If you are "eh" take it or leave it, you might be happier elsewhere. I agree that many girls here have nothing going for them other than an ample ass. And some not even that. You also have to like some black blend in your cup of genetic coffee, to be happy here.

Although I had a different experience than Tenerife in Santiago, overall, I would say we need more threads like this one, albeit with less hyperbole.

To me, descriptive negative reviews are just as helpful (if not more) than positive ones--kind of like how I seek out negative reviews when I'm trying to buy something online, a kind of minimax strategy.

For example, the mixed literature for Medellin and Manila on here is very helpful for would-be travelers.

i don't feel like an expert having been here less than a year. But
maybe 15% are overweight in a bad way... (as opposed to girls with 30lb asses). More common are girls who are just kindof boring. They didn't benefit from the genetic combinations that took place on this island. Maybe they have some white and some black blood, but somehow got none of the best features out of the bargain.

DR (and other places) do get hyped up to the point that there is an illusion you'll be banging 8s and 9s as you walk off the plane.

You absolutely need tight game, logistics, command of the language, and the willingness to put in the work if you're gonna get hot chicks here.

It also appears that some people count semipros (girls that ask for 30 bucks for baby formula) as notches and that misleads some as well.

In DR:
Logistics= Have a car. OR don't try to bang on first date. Try to spend more than a week here.
Tight game=be decent looking and friendly.
Command of language= have a phone with google translate.
Put in the work= see above.

Girls here are at least slightly more conservative than the US. Hence the difficulty of SNL. Generally, normal non pro girls don't jump on the next foreign dick that comes off the plane. But if you make it clear that DR is a long term thing for you (even if simply a yearly vacation) then you open many doors. If you have genetics that make you look somewhat local, that is a big plus as well (mixed race).

As far as hot girls. Your statements may apply to model/euro looking girls. But if you just want an average looking girl with an above average booty, which many would consider "hot"..... Well you will likely do just fine here.

I think the most important factor is whether a person likes latin culture.

DR looks like a latin rap video
but it sounds like salsa dancing

If any of those words annoy you, you will not like it here.
