When I go to new cities, I always wonder how much I should narrow down the area my apartment has to be in.

How long a walk to the apartment is too long a walk? 5 minutes, 10, 30?

In my experience 5-10 minutes is ideal. But it's really just a balance between logistics and game. On the other hand a former roommate of mine got a barmaid to walk home with him over an hour in the rain after her shift so there's really no hard and fast rule.

I'd say anything over 15 is pushing it. Girls always complain about the feet or legs hurting at around this point. Also anything over this can de-rail any same night lays. They start to think about what they're doing.

Honestly if you can't keep her desire and interest for more than 15 minutes after you leave the club/bar, you need to work on your game.

Hard to say. I'd try to keep it under 10 minutes by cab. I do agree with WIA that you can swing 15 minutes, just gotta make it as smooth as possible.

As an example upper east side in NYC to meatpacking is probably too long. But if you're doing midtown to meatpacking you're okay.

10 and less is a good rule of thumb.

As a rule of thumb, the further the distance the stronger her desire has to be.

If you told a girl Brad Pitt or Denzel Washington wanted to see her, she might be willing board a plane to go see him, but the same girl wouldn't walk two feet for a beta schlub.

I've gotten a lot of bangs simply because my house was a fifteen minute walk from the venue. I'd turn the girl on, suggest we "go for a walk," and then take her back for a drink/cool thing I wanted to show her/bullshit excuse. We'd wind up in bed thirty minutes into a coffee date. If a girl has to drive to see you, she has to make a decision, but if you're alone and start making out, it's just an impulse buy.

Distance won't hurt your chances with women strongly attracted to you, but it will make "impulse buys" a little harder.

I think if you've built enough attraction, and a girl wants you bad enough, she's going to go for it even if you have to walk a half hour or more.

There's so many variables here though. Climate is a huge one, I think a girl would be far more hesitant to go any substantial distance with you in the bitter cold. Another is how well-lit the walk home will be, she's probably not going to want to walk through a dark path in the woods or something like that. All things considered, a short cab ride home might be the best idea, especially when you get close to that 30 minute mark.

Funny how everyone simply factors in walk distance...

IMO, the most important thing is "high traffic" areas in relation to...
- The venues I frequent
- The "ease" via public transportation
- A nice/cool bar/lounge no less than 2 blocks

Like others said, if a chick really wants you she will TRAVEL. However, I'm looking beyond just pulling...
- Can I pre-game and/or after party with EASE?
- Can I just be lounging at home and have a chick easily get to my place?
- Can I walk out my house in a "high traffic" area and meet new people, do dinner or hit a bar?
