It sounds like the "all you need in life is happiness" fallacy to me - thinking that just because you have it good then everyone who does the same stuff as you must have it good too. It's like when the protagonist of American Beauty quits his soul-draining job to get into self-improvement, and then he still comes back to this house:



Whereas most people who suddenly quit their jobs would certainly not have mansions like that. Happiness is not just a guaranteed result of working hard; there are also the environment and fortune to consider.

By following this line of thought, you could say that all that hating on pyramid schemes needs to end because anyone not making money from them obviously has no financial skills.

Still, I agree that there is no excuse for not learning game. It's just that I don't like the way it's presented.
