The economy and the court system certainly have an affect on sex and reproduction in the modern era. Many men are struggling to take care of themselves, they can't imagine taking on the financial responsibility of raising a family. That and the court system crucifying men at a woman's whim doesn't help.

Theory:

Socialism (and associated theories which rely upon it (Feminism)) leads to less sex.

Why:

1. Where there is no socialism, females must please males in order to survive and thrive - hence sex occurs more according to the male prerogative.

Where there is socialism. female have no need top please men in order to survive and thrive - hence sex occurs more according to the female prerogative. women have lower sex drive in general.

2. Where no socialism - females must maintain attractiveness - personality and physical - which sexually excites males = more sex.

Where there is socialism, females have less incentive to be attractive - which sexually repulses males = less sex.
