She just started telling me stories about her friends dating some guy and he is famous there, I asked her about food, music, her book, where she is from, living in SF. She never asked me a thing, but was all too eager to talk about herself. I tried to go with that, and just get to somewhere interesting. I finally got her to tell me stories about living in Australia and Spain but she actually made it sound...you guessed it...boring.

A third likes the 49ers. Great, I tried talking about that, but she has no knowledge, gets the positions wrong, the players wrong, but has something weird to say about every player. Not interesting weird, boring weird. He bench presses 350 and he only weighs 190, he went to Vanderbilt, that's in Tennessee. I asked her what she thought of Kaepernick and she changed the subject to a boring player, I don't even remember which. I love football, she made it boring.

Another started quizzing me about what's good about me. I don't know, I have actually had interesting times in Brazil and Laos and Germany, I got a knife pulled on me in all 3 countries, I used to box, I went to Cal, I majored in Sociology, I work out, my job is interesting, I have lots of movies, books, I speak 3 languages. But it wasn't conversational. It was just a challenge, no heart. I asked her about herself and she kept saying later, tell me about you, but never an interesting follow up question, like she was taking notes. Asian, very clinical. Then she asked me what my W2 will be this year. And she asked it all in a boring robotic voice. Yawn!

Don't get me wrong, I have had interesting conversations with women in San Francisco. Despite the 49er women (4s who act like they're 9s), uptight women (I know I said I hadn't had sex in 4 months but I don't even know you, who cares, do you have hormones?), gold diggers and assorted weirdoes, I've actually had some really cool conversations, great one night stands that turned into brief relationships, even some good female friends.

I'm just amazed how many of these plastic white (and one Asian) women moving into the neighborhood are so boring.

We should have an award for the Least Interesting Woman in the World! She probably lives somewhere in San Francisco.

I mean these women were all attractive but so boring I don't think I could get a hard on if they offered me sex. I just wanted a nice conversation and couldn't even get that.

Are men that boring too? Honest question, my friends sure aren't. I was just shocked. I'd have rather gone back to high school and sat through a physics lecture by 81-year old Ms. Baker than have a conversation with these women.

SF is the toughest US city in my opinion. When I travel I get hit on by women almost everywhere I go.

I used to go out sarging with a guy who looked like a young Brad Pitt, and even he didn't get hit on very much. It's just different here.

My suggestion to guys who want to get laid a lot in SF is maximize your appearance, and be absolutely fearless. Approach, approach, approach.

The best looking-best dressed guys will still get destroyed here, but if you approach enough and have no emotional reaction to multiple, nightly rejections, you will get laid here. A lot. 1) approach 2) 3-second rule 3) don't over think/analyze 4) care nothing about blowouts

I arrived in SF in my 30's about 1990 before the Internet boom, and it still had a bit of hip small town feel to it.

Once the billions hit it changed a lot, extreme youth, effortless money, and an ironic manner became de rigeur.

Once I hit my mid 40's I felt very out of place there without millions.

I think NY and LA are more humbling, the percentage of young women who think they're "special" in SF seems even higher to me.

And asking what your W2 is? Actually asking what your income is ? Is so rude in America.

I lived in Berkeley for two years and had a different experience.

Remember, in every culture the men and women deserve each other. SF is home to the tech industry. Think about what tech geeks and silicon valley nerds pull. Think about who works at facebook and twitter.

SF is also home to a lot of new age spiritual communities, polyamory communities, the kink scene, several porn producers, more than one college, and the burning man community. They all have cool parties. If you're invited by a friend with social proof in that community, you've got a nice buffet of juicy people laid out in front of you.

Because of the tech influence, there is little taboo against online dating. If your online game is good, and you're reasonably good looking and can differentiate yourself, you can basically order out new girls every week.

I realize these niches won't appeal to everyone, but for me, the bay area was a massive upgrade to my notch count.

You have a good point that there's lots of open channels-- if you're young. If you're 40s and want chicks in 20s, I think it's a very hard place.

Also, I learned a lot about sexuality there, there was every kind of weird fetish and I realized that I wasn't really crazy, there were way weirder people than me.

I remember early in my stay I passed a storefront and there were magazines in the window for "bears". There are some gay guys that like big, barrel chested, hairy guys called "bears".

After that, I figured anything I wanted was vanilla as hell!!!

Yeah SF has gotten worse. This year is by far the worst environment I have ever seen, the reason is because of Facebook and Twitter. 2 years ago there were young people, prices went up night life is filled with 30 year old ugly Indian engineers now. If anyone tries to compare SF in 2013 to 2011 that's night and day.

If you can pull in SF you will destroy it when you land outside of California.

Anyway I agree and disagree with the post.

Agree with the decline, disagree with it being impossible. You can still bang a new girl every month.

The reason I hate SF now is not because of the items listed in the OP but rather because I know my own value and worth. The issue in SF is quality. Exact reverse of LA where quality is fine but logistics are shit.

I get bad/old suggestions on how to "improve" in SF and they never work. Notably I consider them bad ideas because I have literally combed through the whole city for many years and many many nights out. I know I'm running the max game regimen in SF from a nightlife point of view and realize if I put 1/5 of the effort into say NYC or Vegas it wouldn't even compare.

Anyway, SF is a great city to live work and build a career, for game there are about a hundred million places better than SF.

In terms of difficulty it is not the hardest place in California, San Jose is and it's not even up for debate.

I have weak Game and can't pull 8 and above in a manloaded atmosphere. Obviously there is something wrong with this wretched place. Also, I feel that I should be able to have good social interactions with women who spend all day in front of a screen or who have been born and bred for success since before they were conceived. I am also displeased that the Asian girls are less social and more focused on measurables than the Asian women in the fantasies I have after watching manga. I am also displeased that after Steve Young retired it took a number of years before the 49ers acquired a top level QB. We had Montana, then Young. We are supposed to have a HOF QB and a HOF'er as his back up at all times. Also, I am looking to have "robust" conversations with the women I want to bang. In addition, I note that I do not gain when I do not go to the gym. I blame this on San Francisco. I would also like to call into the plastic white and Asian woman factory and make a Jimmy Dean Sausage style complaint:

Some of the same spots are okay, the issue is just outlined in the post. The rent has gone haywire so chicks live in the east bay which messes up logistics since you've lived in SF before my last bangs = walnut creek, Richmond, daly city, Vallejo, Vacaville.

They can't live together in the classic 3 bedroom set up. Too expensive so that's probably what it is.

Anyway, Sugar has it right in terms of success: 1) no ego, 2) dress sharp as fuck, 3) volume approaches in the right venue, 4) central location to bang.

LOL if you come to any major city in California as an average guy trying to get laid. You need to be in shape + logistics + decent game.

SF peaked just before Facebook went public, it was on fire then and hit the wall once all the stock options vested 90-180 days later.

An idea on how stupid rent is, a studio in a central location is $2,300 a month.

SF girls (and California girls in general) are super easy to swoop in Miami.

They always tell me how guys in SF never approach and aren't aggressive.

I would say go that route.

I am like MikeCF in that SF has never given me problems. Always had success there.

It is tailor made for a guy with Strong Restaurant Game.

But then again, I haven't been there for a while so I can't dispute WestCoast's comments on the current state of affairs.

However, I have three offers (more like begging me) from girls to stay with them there, so I could do a three day trip and swoop three girls.

SF was amazing from 2010-2012ish, now it's a lot of tattooed up hipster disease and old people. There are a few spots I keep to myself, those are the only ones I will ever go to and I didn't list them on the forum. Tier two places are the matrix, Polk street's playhouse, cozy car, DNA lounge bootie Saturday nights and Noble.

Anyway 2013 is much harder game wise, good news is again if you leave you just destroy it. As an example when I go to NYC's it is almost stupid to even book a hotel room.

When a girl says the guys were not aggressive this is what really happened:

Dorky ass engineer hits on her
Dorky ass twitter guy
Dorky ass start up guy
You show up and she doesn't even want to talk to you because her night is ruined.

The solution?

Hit on girl before 10:30. Leave in the middle of the convo for 30-45 minutes. Watch other guys fuck it all up. Then come back to talk to her and she is yours for the whole night. Pretty much the routine. Then you get to learn she lives in Vallejo because hot chicks don't make $100K a year haha.

Is what it is, still love SF with all my heart because of how good it has been to me, just telling you guys how it is today.

Being aggressive to me is vague if you're not hitting on 10 girls a day and not trying to same day close then yeah you're not even playing the game.

I noticed this too, but with Southern California girls in Miami. They always act surprised/appreciative when I buy drinks for them, since there is apparently some "PUA" movement in Los Angeles where they teach you to not buy drinks for girls. Almost every company I have ever worked for the last 15 years is based on the peninsula and southbay. I have practically lived out there for work several times. All I have seen are frumpy elitist white girls from the east coast and midwest, probably because thats my work social circle there. There is a deeper game there with real local Asian and Mamis I have never tapped in to. Done the whole ruby sky nightlife in sf and been to some great weird parties too. Been to all the great restaurants there but Burma Superstar had to be hands down the best newer SF spot. You could easily run game outside there on the bench, its so laid back and cool you only have a good time and the food is incredible. Hog Island Oyster is my other spot, and there farm up north is damn incredible.

To the rest of the comments you really can't compare a girl visiting another city. We all know this. Any time a girl visits a city "sex doesn't count" in her mind. It's like me saying girls from LA are easy when they come visit SF which is very true, but it's vacation sex.

@philly I find that odd this year was the biggest decline I have ever seen nightlife wise. I am friends with the right people, owners of the top spots mentioned on here and few I won't even mention since they are the last stragglers remaining. Even the owners have raised drink prices at an attempt to make money off the new tech money.

Anyway, all that said I'll add restaurant game but overall I'll stick to all my comments in the is thread. Get out there and get rejected your game is going to go thru the roof

My friend knows the family that runs it (I do too, but not as well as him) so we had it on Lock.

Burma is a totally laid back norcal spot, not a buttoned up Miami/NYC spot by any stretch. Its a very locals spot, but the food is fucking amazing.. More Patagonia than Gucci, your typical active outdoorsy SF people, i.e. cute fit girls that can out surf and climb me.

But, honestly, I am not. I physically "live" in San Francisco but psychologically, I live in my own world.

I ignore 99% of the women in San Francisco.

I only talk to the 1% who are young, cute, and thin.

I have never talked to a feminist chick. I have never talked to a gay person (okay, maybe once), I have never talked to one of those girls from out of town who come here for work.

I meet girls primarily on college and university campuses. This ensures that they will be young and thin and free from the feminist and hippy brainwashing that effect older girls.

I have trained myself to ignore fat chicks, ugly chicks, lezbians, and stupid people.

My brain might be in San Francisco but my mind is in a separate reality.

For me, San Francisco is 2 universities, 3 colleges, a couple grocery stores and a couple places to eat. Other then that, I don't know and I don't care.

@gio yeah day game is still good in SF. Issue is that's 2 days a week max to do if you're workings heavy hours 60+

Anyway it's more of an update on nightlife. If anyone can so much as recommend a spot I haven't been to I'll write ya'll a check for $100 (nightlife not restaurants)

Anyway it's all good I will adapt always do.

The plus side is once you're good in SF you can kill everywhere. Hence my 2014 plan is to visit 12 new cities one per month and just murder the game internationally.

Also I'm going to try some church game in 2014. Yep, went there, don't care if it works it works.
