I saw this a few years ago, I love it. Especially #1 and #10. I can't stand how "man up" went from something men said to each other to something women felt like they could say to men. Man up? Really, bitch? When have you ever been in a fight/served in a war/done hard manual labor/been to jail/felt the burden of being the sole breadwinner for a family/stepped up to physically protect someone weaker than you? Crawled under the car to put chains on in the snow? Cold-approached a stranger for a date? Picked yourself up bloody and bruised and carried on?

Man up? Unless you've been there, go fuck yourself.

This was good. Don't be too hard on this brother, guys. He's just trying to make sense of the world and give his thoughts some voice. It is not really meant to be specific advice on how to respond to someone in a conversation.
It's more meant to be this dude's rhetorical way of expressing himself. He's using the hypothetical question as a launching point to explore some things about contemporary society that pisses him off.
I say, well done.

Everyone has their own way of seeing it. I don't personally care for the poem, but if it floats his and others boats, great! I agree with Ryre, unless you've been there. I've had so many beta friends that try pulling that schtick that they know better than to say it to me. I forget the ROK article which said about the big masculine dude that ordered a girly looking drink and some bitchboy insulted him over it. The guy simply said "If you are judging my masculinity over beverage selection let me judge yours." The boi squeamishly asked "How would you do that?" And without delay the guy retorts "By your capacity for violence." I've thought that was awesome and use it occasionally but when a woman says it, exactly as Vicious does!
