A lot of churches in no way respect the institution of marriage. That's a big part of what Dalrock writes about.

They'll say, "divorce is wrong, but what if she's being abused??????" Of course abuse includes anything that makes her anything less than delighted.

So divorce is just in common in many churches, if not more so, than general society.

I go to church every week, but I hardly think that marrying a church girl would be a safe move in and of itself.

I depends on which church you are currently attending and which churches you will attend in the future.

Remember, obesity, childbirth and divorce are all socially contagious.

If the other women at your church are being "abused," then you can count on it that your wife has been too. She wouldn't wanna be left out of the fun.

So the Christian lady is living the single life pretty well :

I’ve been living without a man around the house for just over a month now, and there are definitely some things I’ve had to get over. Spiders, for instance. I’ve had to kill numerous spiders all by myself. I tried to make the girls do it, but they were too busy screaming bloody murder at the eight-legged freaks to obey me. We’re going to have to work on that. Or something.

I’ve had to do all my own dishes. Leif used to do that.

Money. Is. Tight.

So far, a toilet hasn’t clogged yet, but I know it will eventually (hello, I have kids!), and then it will be my responsibility to fix it. *Skipping off to knock on wood*

Yeah white knighting for divorcees has even infected the Orthodox Jewish community. Under Orthodox Judaism, a woman cannot get divorced and thus marry another man until her husband gives her a writ of divorce. Occasionally men refuse to authorize the divorce, making the woman what's called an agunah. Now there are all these women starting pity parties about how their husbands won't divorce them, and Jewish communities are rallying behind them.

Maybe their grievances are legitimate in some cases, but you never hear the man's side of the story in these cases - it's just one long tirade about how these men are such villains.

Right there is a clue as to why she wants to get divorced.

Looking at the picture of the guy and the fact that HE DID THE DISHES, you absolutely know this guy was working hard to provide for her and the kids and treated her with the utmost respect. I really think this story deserves an ROK piece. Here is a man who did everything feminists say your supposed to do in a marriage, respect your wife, split up the housework, work hard, and he gets absolutely RAPED by the family law system and his ex shits on him, calling him "dude". The information for the article is all their in her own words. It might wake a few guys up who are still plugged into marrying these american girls as an actual option.

If your wife is calling you dude you need to lay down the law about what is and is not acceptable. It is a canary in a coalmine...and tells of more egregious disrespect to come in the future. She should address you by your name or petname of choice. Things this small can easily be ignored or brushed off, but here we have a great example of the results.

Sidepoint: unless this dude is a huge scandinavian body builder a name like that just screams doormat. Thoughts?

Maybe, but I'd I ever felt that my marriage needed divine guidance to work, I'd sooner start my own religion. Cult leader game beats conservative church game any day.

Guy on here always talk about the dangers of letting your wife work for a man, because you would be competing for authority. This guy did the same thing, but worse. He ceded authority over his family to some pastor and a bunch of gossiping church hens. No sympathy from me.

I started a new religion for my wife and I called Pocketarianism, where each Truth is distilled to a small nugget that suits a particular event. As the leader and prophet of Pocketarianism I reveal these Pockets of Truth to my wife on an ad hoc basis.

Yeah we have a laugh but it's good training.

This poor bastard definitely could have used some cult leader game.

RE: "Christian" Woman decides to divorce husband, the crew at Dalrock obliterate her
What's the general view of Dalrock in RVF?

The reason I ask is because I joined a Christian dating site about a year ago to see if there would be any wife material there. I agree with Roosh that tomorrow belongs to religious social conservatives because they have kids and they tend not to through them into the abortionist's flame.

Well, what I experienced on the Christian dating site shocked me. Most of the interest came from divorcées and even women who were merely 'separated'. Many wrote profiles about social justice and pro-Choice. My general cynicism of the Anglo dating market did not prepare me for this. I was genuinely shocked and quite depressed to.

I am just wondering if Dalrock has any articles on what I experienced.

N6 why are you wasting time with online dating especially christian online (ick)? If you want a good "christian" woman do the leg work and join a church. The churches that don't marry gays are the places to look.

I love how she tried to fuck over her husband pearl harbor style and it blew up in her face. Im betting money she goes back to him. She is immature and a sign of the times. She has yet to understand that the next guy to bang her will have no desire to make a long term committment with fat, stretch marks and two kids in tow.

RE: "Christian" Woman decides to divorce husband, the crew at Dalrock obliterate her
For those who are thinking that marrying a "Christian" girl is going to be a safer bet, head over to the Family Life section of the Catholic Answers forum some time and it will quickly dispel any illusions you might have about "Christian" women. Here's a sample:

Can I raise this child if I'm not the father?

Catholic man gets cuckolded by his wife, forum spends nine pages telling him how he should get over it for the sake of the child, how he was probably to blame by pushing her away emotionally by spending too much time at work, how Joseph probably felt the same way when the Mary became pregnant (seriously):

Quote:"Whatever the two of you do, it needs to be in the best interest of the child, the most innocent all. That question in your title is something only you and she can answer with prayer and discussion."

"Honestly, I think that Joesph had that same questions when he found out that Mary was pregnant and he had never been with her. I think you can raise this child."

"In the end, it's time to do what Jesus would do, even though it's hard and scary. Jesus wouldn't run out and get a divorce at the first sign of trouble. Jesus wouldn't encourage your wife to have an abortion because it's convenient and people want to forget their emotional trauma. An abortion will only add to the emotional trauma, not lessen it."

"This child has been entrusted by God to the OP and his wife, because they are united in marriage, regardless of what deviation from God's plan may have been involved in the child's conception."

Plot twist in the whole thing is that he's white and his wife cheated on him with a black man so he's got pretty much zero chance of playing it off as his own child.

Quote:The man my wife had the affair with was African American, while she and I are both Caucasian. This presents another fear as it would be clear to the child that I'm not the true father. How would I explain this to him/her? How would I explain this to others? Many thoughts keep passing through my mind, and I don't know what to do.

For comparison, here's how this "Christian" forum responds when the situation is reversed and the husband's infidelity results in a bastard child:

Husband's Affair and Offspring Thereof

Quote:"Hon, first of all, do NOT accept his attempts to blame you for his sin!"

"I can only agree that he has to take full responsibility for his failure of loyalty trust and his vows."

"Please do not allow your husband to guilt you into thinking you were somehow responsible for him committing this sin. The blame is ALL on him, NOT YOU. "

"If you took the child it would be a reminder of your husbands unfaithfulness to his marriage vows every time you looked at the child innocent as the child is, best bet is to get your husband to step up to the plate instead of trying the oldest trick in the book blaming someone else for his failings and lust"

"Don't let anyone force you take a baby that is not yours"

"Cheating makes me livid. My husband knows that if he cheats, I'm gone (or he is dead because I'm a deadly shot)."

Just looked on there today and there's this gem from some reformed slut who's now ready to reclaim her virginity after years of riding the carousel.

Born Again Virginity

Quote:IMHO, a person's ❤ is far more important than one mistake. If in your heart you want to be chaste, that's awesome. Confession is such a wonderful sacrament in that we do get to have new beginnings without the anchor of continually reproaching ourselves. If you meet someone and fall in love, be honest, although I can't imagine that the fact you had prior experience would make a difference to your future spouse. If it does make a difference, you would not want to be with that person regardless.

By and large, the appeal of Christianity for women appears to be all about using it as a justification for why you can't hold them accountable for anything they've done and must forgive them no matter what, because "that's what Jesus would do."

I had fairly good results on the Catholic sites, eventually meeting and marrying what most of you all would consider a Unicorn but there's a huge caveat.

My results became noticeable shitty the moment I allowed even the slightest possibility of hamsterization. In other words, they're typically either 100% on board with the theology or completely full of shit.

If you are on a christian/catholic dating site, NEVER talk to girls who have marked that they disagree with the church's teachings on either contraception or premarital sex

Fortunately the site I was using was also extremely good with the search options. You can narrow it down to staunch catholics who have marked that they've never been married. Not perfect, but try it and you'll be amazed: doing that weeds out a good 75% of the profiles on there.

If you're catholic also look into avemariasingles. The women on there are, for the most part, extremely staunch and conservative catholics.....think on par with mennonite women. Obviously not a good fit for most guys on here but on the off chance someone is OK with that here the site might be good for you.

Many women such as porn gutter sluts find religion and then hide their past far away from where they did the deeds.

If you still wish to pursue women in religion then keep that in mind.

I agree, I haven't used Christian Online dating sites but I do know that the spectrum of churches is very wide and so you don't know what you're getting if a girl says she's a 'christian'...especially if she is self declared and makes up her own rules.

Standard procedure for dating christian girls should be you going to, or researching her church. If its all froo froo you know you should either evacuate. I'd also say "bring her into yours" but you don't want to bring anyone but serious LTR girls to your church as church gossip will hit the fan if you start running a rotation through it.

Her Facebook shows no sign of a new husband.

Her trajectory: Christian marriage -> Frivorce -> Single motherhood
