Why are you answering her questions? She's not a cop, your boss, or your mother (even then I wouldn't explain).

I've stopped explaining my bad behavior to women. If I get caught red handed, I just own up to it and apologize (if need be). I don't explain why 100 times over and over again. It's so annoying. Otherwise, show her the door. She'll wise up and come back. If not, problem solved!

Yeah - the first time it pissed me off so I pretty much told her, well, guess it's best if you go home then.

She was also saying today that she wanted to count my condoms. She knew last time I had 14. Fuck no. I just said I won't let anyone do that.

Weirdly, she later sent me Line pictures of bunny rabbits popping out of holes saying, "Hi!"

I think the things is with just being honest is... it's impossible to snag them in the first place by being honest. I've tried it. They say, "Well, I appreciate you being honest but no thanks".

I sense that this practice of a guy's framing with the girl is NOT really about honesty.

I mean I get you that if you have some kind of philosophy that a guy should be mostly honest then that mind-set is going to come back to bite you in the ass. And, ultimately that is the wrong frame for a guy that wants to bang more than one girl at a time.


Ultimately, a guy does NOT want to be in a frame in which he is having to explain things, whether he is in a oneitis relationship or NOT, and he does NOT want the girl to be controlling the kinds of things discussed. NO problem going along with her for a while, but a girl's questioning a guy about personal beyond his comfort level, then she is merely losing perspective of her place in the relationship.

In sum, i may be willing to answer some of a girl's questions about my personal life and about my activities (b/c there may be nothing wrong with a certain level of curiosity and sharing b/c she may be showing healthy interest and curiosity and these various kinds of discussion are part of the foreplay and the generating and keeping interest); however, if she starts to attempt to control the frame too much, and if she does NOT get my hints about her going too far (whether I have to be very direct or NOT), then likely I will cut her off or at least I will put her at a distance.....

My approach will also, in part, depend upon my other options, and the more equal caliber girls waiting in the wings, the less I will tolerate. I may completely sever her from a relationship with me if she continues to persist in behavior that I am considering to be going too far. In that regard, asking about hairs is fine... and maybe even asking about condoms is o.k.... so long as she is fun about it, rather than interrogating... With the condoms, a guy can have fun with that, and ask her why she is asking or even say various ways that he uses condoms.. implying a variety of uses for them, of course, without getting defensive and just having fun with the topics. As soon as it is NOT fun, then she may have to either exit or be put at a distance.


Regarding lying and telling the truth there is a practical aspect of keeping track, and frequently, I find some variation of the truth to be much easier to keep track, but that would NOT mean that I exercise any kind of open book practice or even to create that impression. Generally, the girl is going to know that I am NOT an open book kind of guy.... and she's gotta be willing to accept that.

To be honest, normal Thai girls have a reputation for being the the most jealous women in the world. Even when you're not cheating they do these interrogations all the time. If you don't put them in their place and teach them it doesn't fly, that is. They do it to their Thai boyfriends too.

It's honestly one of the most annoying things about Thai women, in my opinion, as they'll just never trust you even if you're faithful.

That said, a lot of them will also stick with a guy they know is cheating, crossing their fingers he'll come around. Her bunny text was a typical icebreaker preceding her completely ignoring the subject until next time.

Well...kind of unfair considering you're taking the dysfunction of American women out on Asian broads, especially if she's really a "good sort" as you say (though she may not necessarily be). If you tell them straight up you're banging other broads in the beginning, you're right that a lot of them will roll out.

If they were planning on marriage or are married and (especially) depending on him as the breadwinner, well, chances start to go up a "tad bit."

When I was here in July. I slept with a girl and moved my stuff into her room for the next night because I thought it'd be better than staying with the backpackers on Sukhumvit Soi 38. (Most things in life are better than that).

But I slowly realised she was mental (she smashed a bottle over a Korean girl's head in London and she made a knife action near my balls to make a point that 'I shouldn't be a butterfly man'.)

She wanted to go and walk around the riverside that night, but before we did that she wanted to go to the hairdresser's. I dropped her off and said I'd wait in the internet café opposite. I then waited for the elevator doors to close in front of her, then I walked back to the hotel, went up to the room, grabbed all my stuff, walked hastily downstairs, did a faux-calm Mr Bean walk through the lobby and went to another part of the city.

I pulled her from Levels.

I'm going there tonight :/.

Well, a healthy dose of irrational fear isn't the worst thing to have in Southeast Asia. lol As long as you don't have so much it ruins your time.

You'll probably be fine. She's no doubt been with a lot of other whiteboys since July and chances are you won't even see her. If you do, she'll probably be with another guy.

I try not to make "too much" of a habit of talking out of my ass and have a pretty solid understanding of how to deal with Thais from various backgrounds.

It's also pretty normal there to avoid anything uncomfortable or confrontational (unless her lid has already flipped), so if you give her the out, she will probably take it. Confrontation is usually a no-no. For the same reason don't hesitate to turn and beeline out of the place as soon as she raises her voice. It's okay to run from your problems in Thailand. lol

Just imagine you are also trying to save face for yourself and you'll skate right through. Because even if she wants to push it, her cultural instincts will keep her from putting you in that position.

If she is a low-class bargirl, as I presumed in my post above, then it's hard to know exactly what to expect though. They're accustomed to ignoring social ettiquette, but they're also accustomed to flaky off and on sexual relationships and all the bullshit that comes with them.

I've had some dodgy run-ins with nightlife girls too but in most cases when we saw each other again we just completely ignored one another or exchanged an awkward smile. I'd start bullshitting with whatever new guy they had to show I was on her side and not blowing her cover. Often ended up joking around with each other or banging again some other time.

Had a love/hate relationship with the seedy after-hours bars for years. I'd hang out with more respectable Thais but late night if I was drunk and had no proper vag on layaway I'd hop on my motorbike and race over to the dark side. @BB - You give really solid suggestions concerning various scenarios that may play out.. Situation A, B, C, D..... thus reaction W, X, Y, Z.... That is really great shit to consider the various ways these interactions might go down.


@ LeightonB.... You describe a situation in which we do NOT always know what we are getting into, and I agree with you b/c I have experienced some of my own drama with women..... and in my experience, the drama gets worse the longer you know the girl... and surely some girls and cultures seem to be more predisposed to drama.... but their true personalities come out more and more the more that time passes.

Like you say, as we start to see evidence of a underlying psycho, I think that it is real good to exit early before thing get too shady or out of control. On the other hand, guys are NOT always going to know how to play it very well, and some guys may be willing to live on the edge a little bit... I prefer NOT to have any of my useful parts damaged via crazy girl wielding a knife.
