I dont know if there really is a Monaco of Bulgaria. Fun country, and definitely some cool spots, but not the most socially high class place you will ever visit.

Maybe "Monaco of Bulgaria" isn't the clearest way to explain it.

OK G, got it - what you are looking for is the Cacao Beach sub-section of Sunny Beach.
You could also try Lozenetz, which is a smaller higher end place a bit south of Sozopol. Could be a bit hipsterish for you, though.

@G, out of the 2 places I mentioned Varna was definitely the classier/nicer of the 2. I might go back next year and rather than stay at my friends place i'd get a fancy villa/apartment in a prime location in Varna.
I haven't been to the spots K-man mentioned but as he lives there he's better to advise.
Varna usually appears high on the hottest women in the world locations though.
