Since my dad works an odd schedule I went ahead and made Thanksgiving dinner last night, we ate, then I proceeded to get absolutely shitfaced on malt liquor. Now I'm nursing a hangover and watching the Lions/Packers game.

I'm cooking at the hotel today, presenting a buffet and slicing turkey for our guests, smiling through gritting teeth and thinking, "Happy fucking holidays cocksucker".

Then it's off to my dad's to lounge around up in the woods for a few days.

Once, just once, I want to leave the country for 6 weeks and not even have to think about Thanksgiving, Christmas, or the Holidays. Not to be a downer but when you work in hospitality the holidays translates to more work, more stress. It's my least favorite time of the year.

P.S. Ali, next year lay off the canned cranberry sauce and make it fresh:

Get some frozen cranberries. Weigh them. Multiply their weight by .6 and add that much sugar (So 5lb cranberries would need 3lb sugar). Combine the sugar with the cranberries and the zest of an orange and a cinnamon stick. Mix this all together and let it sit overnight to macerate. Cook it all the next day at a simmer until it reaches 215 F and let cool. You'll never buy canned cranberry sauce again.

My 18 YO female side player (musician) interviewed another under 25 girl who is coming over to practice some music. Deploying chicks as procuresses works incredibly well. The girl who's coming over my apartment has never seen me before.

The sheep-like nature of women ( which is the flip side of the value of fame) is one of the the immutable things that cannot be overestimated as an avenue into their pants.

Men tend to rebel if they sense they are being herded like animals. Women are completely incapable of realizing it.

"I did it because I wanted to, not because everyone else was doing it!" they say, and, incredibly , truly believe it.

It's like we can't change how we want hot 18-23 year olds. We're aware of it, but can't change it.
My head will turn, on its own, to track the hot 19 year old while a 35 year old is standing right in front of me staring at me.

I volunteered to be on call for thanksgiving and xmas. I made $2k last year working those two days so it's pretty hard to pass on. Hopefully shit will really hit the fan this year so I can make bank. If people want to see me, they have 363 other days to do so.

Looks like I'll be in miserable, bum-fuck southern Indiana. Looking forward to being the only "Jew" in 100 mile radius. This outta be fun.
