I don't understand the mentality behind this shit. Are these guys gay or something?

You know in video games where you can choose gender, and especially RPG games...Whenever I see a video on YouTube of a guy playing fallout or skyrim he's always playing with a girl character.

I've read about this quite some time ago and some source claimed that the reason guys do this is so they see an ass while they're playing. I don't buy this shit.

Only worse is on super nerdy MMOs like WoW(I don't play it) and other fantasy games. There's always guys playing as some female elf who is either an archer or spellcaster, as as far away from masculine as possible. Is this some sort of fantasy that these guys wish they were living?

Don't know about you, but whenever I play a game in wich I can customize my character, I always choose a big ass guy who carries the biggest gun/sword. It's not cause I wanna look at some guy ass, it's cause I try to create the character in my ideal image.

Can anyone shed some light in this? Cause from what I can see guys who do this must be gay.

Not sure if it's a troll or not, but there's a conversation to be had about the virtual cross-dressing phenomenon.

Is it a desire to be in control of a fantasy woman, or a rejection of their own masculinity?

Or in multiplayer games is it a smart way to extract help from all the white knights out there?

I generally did it because the character was usually fairly attractive and it was nice to have something pleasant to look at while playing.

I sometimes do it because I like to look at women more than men. I generally like to give her the sluttiest name I can think of (Mitsy, Tish, Jenn, Erin, Zoe, etc) and dress her is the sexiest or sluttiest outfit available. That's just the kind of guy I am.

It's a cartoon character! Who gives a shit what they look like? To play as a woman because you like to look at a cartoon character of a woman sounds mad thirsty to me.

1. Modding the game like Skyrim and simulating sex scenes with a "that asshole the crush from school fucks" lookalike after which the female character kills the asshole lookalike.
