Presenting: Kay Jewelers, The Sequel

It's ten years later.

Like a lot of kids from single moms, the young girl is now a troubled teenager with a screaming baby in the home. She dropped out of high school and has her tattooed baby daddy hanging around the house.

She calls step-dad a "perv" because he once bought her some jewelry as if he was trying to court her like her mom. Because of this, Baby Daddy gets in his face whenever possible.

Step-dad is beaten down. He didn't count on this. The chaos. The drama. The ugly, ugly tattoos. The Mom sees his loss of status and moves on. She gets that nice property you see here. He gets an apartment in the bad section of town.

Our final scene shows him in a sparse apartment with boxes stacked up in piles. The final frame zooms in on one of those boxes and you see the old jewelry box, dusty and worn, sitting atop a pile of his life's remnants.

The final sounds of the commercial are a click followed by a loud "BANG."

Fade to black.
