It tool me a while to realize how completely and totally obsessed with food many women are; although this is probably more common among women from upper middle class and above backgrounds. Among the SWPL crowd, I'd bet at least a third have or have has some form of eating disorder. And I'm being conservative.

The Internet rage machine is a funny thing. It is not like someone put a billboard in the middle of every city in America. It's a web site. I cannot think of anything easier to ignore than a web site. And yet, these people cannot help but to spread te very thing that outrages them so much. There is simply no logic at work here... well, other than hamster logic.

Obviously this is creating a shit storm but make no mistake - the message *is* sinking in. As truthmosis put it so aptly: women are addicted to drama. Meanwhile the hamsters are spinning in fifth gear and the global consumption of cupcakes will be inversely related to the amount of exposure this receives.

Hahahaha! This is brilliant.

I suffered from depression and an eating disorder for 4 years and I didn't find the article insulting or offensive in any way. Maybe that's because I understand the point of why it was written but all these people crying for others makes no sense to me.

As someone who had an eating disorder for a long time, I can say there's nothing wrong with it if you have a sense of humour.

Instead of putting their laptops away and getting on with their lives, all these people are enraging themselves by getting sucked into Tuth's world.

Going through all the twitter reponses, I noticed that the amount of the women who list having a "sweet tooth" in their bios is staggering. Is it that important to have in your fucking biography? As jr mentioned earlier, the relationship a lot of women, thin or fat, have with food is really bloody odd. Could it be that the sample I looked at are all very similar, as they all were so offended by the article? I'm sure it's related.

OK, let me put it to you this way: I get that women struggle with eating disorders, but if women were rational, and thought about things logically instead of just going with an emotional reaction, they would read the article and say "oh haha, i'm thin, and a winner, sure I used to have an eating disorder but it is good to be wanted".

Instead, they are just responding with 'RAAAWWR! ME MAD! YOU SEXIST"

Back in the days when a woman complained she got smacked over the head and told to get her fat ass back into the kitchen. I was amazed a few months ago when a Russian girl I dated posted an RoK article on her Facebook. It was about how much better to date Russian women are than western girls.
