If he was the typical boring American do you think he would have the lifestyle that appears on his instagram even with all the money? No he'd fuck one hot broad and wife her up that instant.

I don't know tons of people with 100+ mil otherwise I'd damn well be rolling out with them and not posting on the forum right now. I do know lots of people with say 5-15 million. I've seen plenty of rich fuckers. Guys like him might be a dime a dozen in Vegas or Miami, but not L.A. There's probably a reason for that, in that the ROI for dropping mad cash in LA isn't even REMOTELY as good as Vegas or Miami.

I've seen hundreds of rich guys, probably thousands, that have the garage stocked with supercars and $20 mil mansion, that are rolling with a completely busted chick and don't seem to be living it up very much. Yes I know for a fact their net worth is easily over $100 mil, guys that were ranked in the 10 most powerful people in the state, billionaires, saudi money etc. I used to work in Brentwood and that shit is everywhere there. Seems like the guys at the very top have too much image to maintain and have to appeal to the public too much. They're all so-called philanthropists and humanitarians. They might booking suites full of Playboy bunnies and stocking a few oscars of premium blow in private, but I doubt it. They certainly aren't living it up like these trust fund playboys.

And just an idea of what the difference is between $10 mil and $100 mil.

Assuming you're smart and don't intend to go bankrupt, you'd probably pull something like this:

$10 mil: You could own a $1.5 mil house and one supercar and lead a fairly decadent lifestyle for the rest of your life.

$100 mil: you could own two $5 mil mansions and a small garage full of supercars and lead an extremely decadent lifestyle for the rest of your life.

Hmmmm which one to choose...

Rich people (especially $30 mil and up) are a very small fraction of the population and not 'all over the place' by definition, it is an illusion to believe otherwise.

Men with net worth's over $100 million are rarer still. There are less than 10,000 in the whole country. The population of a small, hick town.

Those rich guys you are seeing in LA not pulling are either 1) not really rich or 2) haven't learned how to properly apply their wealth (if hot pussy is their goal).

Give me even $1 million and I will put it to work in LA. Those guys are clueless.

Checked out more into his dad. Looks like he was Gordon Gecko and got caught in the late 80s. From what I can guess, it looks like the dad probably funneled all of the illicit profits from his securities fraud to his son quietly, while declaring bankruptcy.

He may be a super nice guy (and he probably is) but I would be willing to bet that 90 percent of his "social circle" are leeches. Think all those hot chicks would hang out with him if he were broke and didn't have drugs? Think they will continue to hang out with him if the money is suddenly gone? Maybe I'm wrong. Even if you don't come from a money family and one day you make all this money, if you were not throwing up parties all the time, clubbing with hot girls, it's highly unlikely that you will be living this type of lifestyle. You do have a point. Sour grapes, indeed. But, do note that "poker player" and "venture capitalist" are not real jobs. Almost-becoming a Navy SEAL is admirable, but not as admirable as actually becoming one and serving in combat. I do admire the guy's talent at being a playboy, however. Personally, I find Gunter Sachs much more refined.

However, being a playboy is not my mission in life. I certainly would love to live like that for a few days a year, just to relax... but doing it full times sounds immensely boring. As a kid my idols were engineers, scientists, and astronauts, and if I had 100 megabucks to play with, I would be trying to become something like Elon Musk, founding wildly risky startups that may change entire industries in the unlikely event that they succeed. That is the ultimate luxury, in my opinion.

100 megabucks is enough to do real damage. If a man could build an empire, why waste his potential uploading photos on Instagram? Or partying with leeches and fair-weather friends? Or playing poker? Or betting on stupid startups whose technology you don't understand? Is that the best life a man could possibly live? I don't think so.

You familiar with Brentwood? Go to 26th street and drive north of Sunset blvd. There are hundreds of residences there where not one single house is valued under $10mil, and there are many that get in the 20-30 mil range. On any given day I'd see Larry David, Tom Brady, Eli Broad (look this cat up and tell me "it's not everywhere") Schwarzenegger, Jim Belushi, Josh Brolin, Diane Keaton, the list goes on.

When I say "it's everywhere" I'm referring to the neighborhood itself, not the entirety of Los Angeles. These are all people that have homes in Manhattan, Palm Beach, etc. When you see a $250K supercar several times each minute, just cruising around the Brentwood Country Mart, you get a scope of the density of rich people there.
