First, you have a car so my assumption is that you're not completely poor, but rather 'not comfortable'. This is totally fine but you need to value yourself as a whole, and not based on how fat your wallet is. Keep a positive mentality, not dive off into theorizing "shit, I wonder if she'll ask me about grabbing a bite or getting a drink" while you're talking to her. Remember you lead not her!

From personal experience I don't necessarily drop lots of money while meeting girls. It's not that I cant but rather the situation doesn't lead to it. Would you rather spend $100 on a dinner date or $10-20 bucks on 5 girls a piece? Since your intentions are to fuck and not look for a potential wife, keep the dates simple and direct. Search online for free shit to do or events around campus, city, organizations. Things are always popping up weekly.

Dude, I live by the beach and I regularly see guys roll up with cute girls from 30+ miles away at sunset/night so they can park for free, drink whatever liquor they brought in the car (for cheap), walk down to the beach for free, and get some makeout/grope/finger/bang action down somewhere on the sand somewhere away from people.

These aren't guys in luxury cars or rolling with money by any means.

They are just resourceful and trying to get it done. Gio also gives you a great option since the real young girls are into your look, community college is a great place since most of those kids are even on more of a budget than your bigger college.

I'm going to be frank; I did the same as you for a while and got 0 dates.

I hit a point where my date conversion went from 0% to 70+% (from numbers - I'll get a number from maybe 30-40% of genuine approaches, though I put a lot of feelers out and am generally sociable so it's hard to say a real number). I can't even describe what it was - I could feel it coming, and I knew it was a breakthrough I was getting close to - and suddenly the code for it all just happened. This is not to say I've not got my issues; many things I'm not good at - however, getting dates from daygame is a veritable strength of mine. However, this is after daygaming for what... 8 months straight, maybe? I lived in coffee shops, got comfortable; pushed boundaries - I approached like a madman around, especially in bars (nightgame, but it helped get comfortable for daygame, though the energy level is entirely different in both places). I was uncomfortable as heck. I chickened out in places. Dated a couple girls. Something changed though, and I started cranking in dates. They're easy to get now; now I'm learning how to get farther with the chicks.

Long story short - it's a mental thing. You'll get there. It takes time and effort. It burns you out. You may say you aren't sick of game; doesn't matter, take 3-4 days off. Then take a few hours for the next couple days to warm up; then go hard. There's an 8-10 day routine. You'll learn, you'll get there. There's something in what you are doing that is totally wrong - that's okay, and it's why you are here learning more.

I hear ya on the money thing... my car's a crap pile, I live with my parents, barely make money; but life goes on, I've got my eyes on my business. I spend $10 on a date, max. $7 for lattes and $3 on the games of pool when I pull to a bar. I definitely feel more confident when I drive my family's truck around though. Doesn't matter if anyone sees it; just driving it makes me feel more confident. Which leads back to it simply being a mental thing.

Being broke is no reason to not get laid, as others have said. I banged my first 8 when I was 21. I had no job, no home, no car, no money, no style, no shower, no shave, no phone (pre-cell phone era), no muscles (had never worked out in my life). I was one broke, scrawny, dirty, hippy-lookin motherfucker bumming around Montana for no good reason. Well, I was hitchhiking for its own sake back in the day, and all different kinds of people would pick me up. Couple of weirdos, but mostly regular people. I would say about 30% of my rides were from women, and of those, half were bangable and interested. One time an ASU chick looped back around to pick me up in the middle of Phoenix. She had weed, which was good. I dropped the old "Man it's hot as hell and I've been hitching for days and sure could use a shower" and was back at her place before I knew it.

Another time in Northern Cali a good-looking late twenties professional-type brunette picked me up but "could only take me a little way". Usually when someone says that it means they feel morally obligated to pick you up, but they don't want to, so they want you to turn down the ride. But when a woman, alone, picks up a strange dirty man from the side of the road, it's because she wants a strange, dirty, possibly dangerous man in her car.

I wouldn't try to make any super aggressive moves on a chick who picks you up while she's driving. The best thing is to find a reason for her to take you somewhere (besides just dropping you off at her exit or whatever). This can be anything. The shower thing is great. Another one is, I would always carry a gallon jug of water, and I'd ask if she could take me somewhere I could fill it. Sometimes this is her place, more often its one of those machines at a grocery store, at which point you can suggest getting something to eat, you both go inside, you're broke so you just grab a cheap granola bar or whatever, next thing you know she's filling a cart with shit because she's going to make you dinner....

I'd say it's the same game as anything, basically, but she makes the approach, and she does so because of the mystery and danger you represent. We all know what women's number one fantasy is, and this is her chance to make it happen. When you turn out to be cool and likeable (that is, not creepy), but still mysterious and potentially dangerous, she'll go out of her way to fuck you. It is still very important to not scare the cat, but at the same time, to not get the cat too comfortable.

And yeah, a beach town is perfect. Hitch up and down the coast a little ways. Game the chicks you meet, but even better is that you'll meet all sorts of cool people. I got picked up by a bunch of dudes from...fuck, some Scandanavian country, who came to cali to surf. They taught me how, I sucked at it, hung out and got invited to beach parties.

I'm thinking the best look would be romantically scruffy but not disgustingly dirty-maybe I could wear jeans, boots, belt with a big buckle, tight shirt, leather jacket when it's cool , maybe an adventurers style hat.

Hitchhiking is illegal in Florida but if I stayed in my local area I'm sure I could come up with a cover story so cops wouldn't hassle me too much. In fact, I could just stay in town on the beach strip-there are thousands of women here every day in the summer looking for fun and adventure and they do all sorts of crazy things. I could park my truck and just hitch around town lol
